Hey everyone he's PeanutButterGamer and he's finally here in Lawl! Being voted into Beatdown by you guys, Peebs is here to fight with some handy Hacking techniques, skits and even some junk he found at a thrift store! Will he emerge triumphant? Who knows.

IT'S PBG HIMSELF
.....Oh My God. O_O
This is by far the best way to end the month of February! With Randy Marsh, Skeletor, and the Pop Team Epic duo out in the same month, it's even better that one of the biggest Lawl spinoffs released a new video in there too!
PBG's set as a whole is a great representation of his videos, showing the much more exciting moments and aspects that make his reviews stand out from the rest. The Neutral B was the perfect way to show the fun and weird corruptions showcased in some of the videos, with PBG moving frantically as his body contorts to activate it, and having smash attacks similar to common corruptions (ex: characters' legs extending wide or neck extending up). The Side B has a unique approach: while it may seem like an ordinary vehicle move at very first glance, it instead allows PBG to exploit opponents who rely on horizontal recoveries by using it to his advantage via having their move change briefly after he uses it. The Flybar was a funny addition, as was the Smiley Man, who acts as assist, trap, and projectile all at once, which is neat since most characters of his sort usually only have one of those functions. The FS was also very well-animated, with it being similar to Duck Hunt's FS in the SSB games in a very satisfying way. Overall, it was definitely worth the wait seeing PBG in action, and I'm excited for future lore, Classic Mode, and other Beatdown content coming soon!
I want Beatdown and your Lawl series, Zero to crossover. I dunno, I just want Tord, Galvatron/Sixshot, Skeletor and Strong Bad fighting Optimus Prime, Homestar, PBG and Paper Luigi.
This was an amazing moveset overall! Being a UA-camr full of funny sketches I imagined those would take the majority of the moveset instead of "games he played", and I am glad because that all made him feel more interesting as a character in my opinion! I loved the Side B a lot and how you can use it to dodge vehicle and burst moves (I'LL DODGE IT, NO ONE WILL EVER KNOW!) and Mr. Smiley had a lot of fun properties with how he turns everything into MySims. I also think this is one of the best animated Live Action characters in all of Lawl, and his crazy personality shines through the entire set.
Also while you said that you were not satisfied with the lore here for not being too deep, I found those scenes incredibly funny. Specically PBG wanting to play that Arthur game and also pretending he is listening to Watts. Fun stuff overall
Oh My Gosh, this moveset was great!
The lore including here were great pieces of fun, not so heavy but really entertaining with Mark showing PBG around and his interactions! Also, I don't know who Headmaster O- is. I wonder who.
Then, The Moveset itself was great! With all of his videos, I was wondering how you could pick certain moves, but you pulled out some of his greatest gags and references! I especially like the entrance with Normal Boots!
Finally, the Animation was great! The new victory screens are AMAZING, I can't believe how well done they were! Not too mention Mark's new idle and the cropping in the opening segment, this video was great!

Okay I barely watch PeanutButterGamer but this moveset was fucking hilarious.
Everything from the thumbnail, lore, specials, taunts and standards just really shows how much of a fan you are of PeanutButterGamer! I had to pause and re-watch several scenes just to admire the effort put into this and the jokes used. (Especially the Arthur scenes)
It was really fitting to have him as a mix-up since you never know what videos he uploads next and what shenanigans he gets himself into, which was all summarised in his special moves. Speaking of them, my most favourite ones had to be the Neutral and Down B. They're both so fucking funny with quirky out of the ordinary properties, yet actually function properly to use against opponents.
Also, I'm diggin the new input displays for the standards, the final smash cut-in and victory screens! They look so much crisp and pleasing for the eye to view.
Overall, great stuff as per usual Shad! Rly looking forward to Edd's classic mode!
As someone who has wanted PBG in Lawl for ages voted for him hard in each poll, this was a dream come true seeing him win and get such a perfect moveset
From the character interactions, the editing, how you characterized PBG and captured his loveable goofiness, the moveset itself-

Jesus Christ, I had to rewatch this like 3 times just to fully let this sink in, it's REALLY good. This was just amazing. First off the intro and outro are both hilarious, I didn't mind the lack of real lore since the character interactions were perfect, and speaking of perfect, the moveset itself is amazing, everything was perfect for the character and really well balanced, plus there were several times I legitimately laughed out loud, specifically Side B, the taunts and the outro. I legit don't have much to say other than this was excellent. Props all around dude.

I love his final smash, especially when he tries to do a trick with the gun by throwing it into the air and catching it again then shooting but fails.
One of my favorite UA-camrs made into what's one of now my favorite movesets, all from one of my favorite Lawlers. You did *excellent* on PBG, Shad.
Everything from the get go, specifically the Neutral B buckles you down into what feels exactly like an episode of one of his shows. Entertainment was something that never stopped coming, everything in there was fantastic.
Also, that Final Smash. Good Lord almighty, that Final Smash. The whole;

Was fantastic all on my own, but you then followed up with some great humor and editing within it. If I could play Beatdown, I would flock to PBG in an instant. Thank you so much for doing him justice, hats off to you!
AT LAST! This was an amazing moveset! PBG is definitely gonna be one of my mains in Beatdown. He's one of the most funniest video game reviewers I've ever watched, and you've definitely done him justice with this moveset.

pog? POGCHAMP???? PBG is fucking GREAT. I love these style of videos from game reviewers, and I was always curious about how you could translate this type of humor into a moveset, and this nailed it. It brings the absurdity from PBG's videos and captures it really well, making him really silly but still really unique. I adore how you incorporated the hacking videos onto PBG himself, and bringing a dumb one-off joke and making it a full on special move. It's the things like that that make this feel like Puh-Buh-Guh. Brilliant stuff.
...oh, and about lore! I quite liked the slower pace of it, and, like the moveset, captured the humor of PBG well. You even took the font he uses for his videos you sneaky fuck. While I enjoy the more story driven lore bits in other videos, I wouldn't mind slice of life stuff that happens around the mansion, with everyone fucking around and PBG trying to get people to play Arthur the Board Game. I'm really looking forward to what's next though, especially with lore.
I'm gonna guess the important lore... is that PBG finally gets someone to play Arthur the Board Game with him. Final guess.
Something I really, especially enjoyed, so much so that it convinced me to rewatch a wide array of his videos, is how well you represented the different eras of video uploading, and the kinds of videos that PBG creates on his channel in this moveset. What makes the fun, crazy guy stand out so well from other gaming channels is represented incredibly faithfully in this lawl that also really makes a name for itself. In terms of practicality, I’d probably say my favorite special is his Hacked Neutral, for how solid it is at keeping opponents away thinks to the down smash and projectile that doesn’t give Austin a good head on his shoulders. His funniest move --that I’m certain players would go crazy for-- would easily be Ghost Riding the Whip. It was pretty creative making this a makeshift counter if timed right. Speaking of makeshift counters, Smiley Man is without a doubt my favorite special personally. It’s based on the era where I originally discovered PBG and both the joke and My Sims videos still hold up pretty well. The move itself being a nice nod to how even when PBG thinks he succeeds, Smiley Man still screws him over (atleast well, not as bad as he originally would have) by turning projectiles into the kinda sorta bane of PBG's channel.
Seeing the Final Smash was also such a blast. By far one of your most clever and rewatchable, It honestly gave me a long, solid laugh from how wonderfully integrated the moment and edits were added to the video.
Everything about this PBG moveset, from intro to outro (Peebs and Mark being bros is the best and I hope we can see more of them hanging in future vids. Maybe PBG gets Mark to play Arthur with him or Mark shows him some other games, either way I’m sure you could whip up some gold with them) was pure, simple bless. Loved how you embraced the abnormal but relatable nature of PBG’s content, and ghost rode alongside it with true confidence here. The wait was more than worth it, thanks so much for doing the Zelda obsessing, Goodwill buying, game playing sammich proper, man. Extremely excited to see the next big step Beatdown takes.
Aaaand this is were I would typically get really, loudly hyped over something I almost forgot to mention in the comment. Well sorry but, nah, nah fam, that isn’t going to happen. Well, not the what probably seems obnoxious loud part at least. I will calmly, maturely say though. Seeing more love for Kiran with those normals showcased was pretty cool. Can tell your heart is really into this series (also Tharja being down smash is blessed -w-), and it’s really admirable from a fellow gaming fans standpoint. Speaking of games...

I had no real expectations for PBG honestly, he just seemed like he could go too many directions to know what to expect. That being said, this surpassed any non existent expectation I could have had. You really did sum him up quite nicely, and he looks kind of fun to play as well. I dig him a lot
It’s actually been awhile since I’ve watched PBG, but used to watch him all the time so this one was pretty nostalgic for me. I’d probably main him. Great job as always man.

First of all, nice touch on having the thumbnail being more like PBG's actual thumbnails rather than your own. Second of all, this moveset was well worth the wait. Great job on this one, and its only going to get crazier when classic mode arrives.
Admittedly a simpler set, but still pretty good. The Neutral B seemed fitting, considering the abundance of hacking videos, Side B was obvious and had a unique twist, which made it pretty cool, and I believe it fit the playstyle, Down B was fitting, but it didn't reference the other games Smiley Man made him play, and seemed to have a longer startup compared to a lot of his other moves, Up B fit the playstyle, and the Final Smash was a little disappointing, considering how minuscule the actual moment is, but it is more unique than him exploding while screaming "Arthur".
It seemed obvious that you wanted to make a PBG moveset, rather than a games PBG played moveset, although with how much the games he played manipulated the humor in his videos, that may have hurt it a bit. I probably just wanted a more Classic PBG moveset, which, in hindsight, probably couldn't exist due to the erratic nature of PBG videos, and how things are not often called back to. I may just be beating around the bush to say that his recovery could have been clicking on things, as the jokes of clicking on things was referenced several times throughout the reviews of the Humongous Entertainment games.
Glad the next one will has a lot of lore. I’ve been hungry for some, so yeah...

I think it would be neat if you did a beatdown extra of all characters final smashes used on 8 of their costumes for 1. To see the unannounced alts, and 2. see how you've updated some of the effects of them like the Eyeshot icon
