I remember well the both interview were before that accident in Copenhagen
In fact it really looks that is exactly 1992 as "Not enough time" song and video. As George was really jealous about believing Michael took his place as father figure for me. Like he "picked" George's role and especially idea despite every person has his own unique place in the world.
That was about "Not enough time" video of 1992 as especially Barcelona version referencing to "her eyes like a winter sky she flirts for England"😢 As George wore very similar sunglasses of Michael in early 80s it looks, for Karaoke Carpool with James Corden
As actually exactly George "ordered" that cab accident of the same 1992 in Denmark (Hamlet a Prince of Denmark by Shakespear as a spear is the main Saint George's weapon) caused Michael's injury he lost his tastes
More over "Not enough time" just looks to be "inspired" by "Father Figure"(1987) video despite in reality true inspirational source was Ukrainian folk song "Oy, in a cherry garden"
