How wonderful that the band was all such close friends, Michaels voice, I could listen to him talk forever…. Hard to maintain a normal existence living as rockstars…. Michael always looked super cool and he looked very well here. Don't think he liked interviews much but knew they were necessary- especially then. INXS, Michael and most artists want express themselves through their art, not through chit chat.
Most of the very greats really are quite the same. A magical performance, then great humility outside, and after that. I love that artists of almost any craft lay it all down when it comes to their “canvas”. The ones who are phenomenal never know what to do with all that unnatural attention towards what naturally exudes from them. Think of your favorites from every kind of craft.
I wish they hadn’t gone back to playing small venues. It just made them look as though they were losing their audience. Should have tried to crack the US big time instead. Weren’t they managed by Martha Troup there?
Too bad they did not share vocals...as INXS had the talent. So they did not have just Michael as their lead singer. Its also tragic that there was not a leader of the group that kept Michael more in line and helped him during difficult times. The problem with sex with multiple partners, sex with married people, and having children out of wedlock is that it all comes back to bite you in the ass with unfair custody situations, hard feelings and disease.
I am with you 100% on everything you wrote. Where was anybody? Including his family.He was still young. I am a believer your parenting ends when you die.I don't care how old your children are.You are there for them till the end.How sad💜
