      Thanks for watching! It was a very nice state park. I wish that I had time to explore the caverns while I was there, but maybe next time I am in the area.

      Thank you. I hoped it would be helpful for anyone considering passing through southeast Arizona. I haven't seen as much info on that area as on Quartzsite or Sedona, for example.

      The showers were great! I love boondocking, but do enjoy an occasional stay somewhere with amenities.

      Gayle, I am a native New Englander so I have a special appreciation for the ocean, woodlands, and mountains. The desert has also been an interesting experience though because it is so different and unique. It has been fun for me to learn more about desert plant and animal life. This is a nice place to stop and camp should you pass through here in your travels.

    👍 That sun rise was terrific. 😍 Thanks for the review. It's really helpful to see those pics and hear your "real life" experience about the camp. That state park seems terrific. Wishing you happy save travels. 🤗💞🤗

      Thank you. I am glad that you enjoyed the video. The sunrise really was impressive that morning - and the morning before as well. I was hoping that people would find it helpful to see the place in case they want to camp in that area. It was a nice state park and I would definitely stay there again if am in the area.

    I'm a new subscriber so forgive me but I thought you had a trailer too? Many blessings 😆😆😆😆😆

    • @RobertWitham
      @RobertWitham  8 років тому

      Christina, I started this full-timing adventure in a Toyota Camry, then had a cargo trailer that I was working converting for about six months. As of a few weeks ago, I had an opportunity to replace the cargo trailer with a minivan. That's almost confusing for me! lol The trailer has certain benefits, but the minivan seems to be close to an ideal fit for me.

      ***** I got it! Totally works for me lol...I'm going to start out in a 16' Casita that I already have dialed in for full time - could change though. For now, I really like the freedom of the 2 pieces with one being a 4x4. My best to you 🌞

    • @RobertWitham
      @RobertWitham  8 років тому +1

      Christina, I have heard good things about the Casitas and they certainly have a loyal following. There is a small Casita 5th wheel or gooseneck (haven't seen it close enough to be sure which) parked near me in Ehrenberg, AZ right now. I had never seen one of those before. Good luck with your travels!

      ***** they really hold up well. That's a 19' 5th wheel, have only seen one on the road...Thank you, you too! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞

    My only opposition to paying for camping is my social security is barely enough for my expenses.

    • @RobertWitham
      @RobertWitham  7 років тому

      I understand that. While I am fortunately not on a fixed income, I am on a relatively tight budget. I boondock almost exclusively, but sometimes while traveling or when I need to be in a certain place I end up stuck paying for camping. In this case, it worked out well as I was able to use electricity for 24 hours on a cloudy day and took two hot showers :)

      One nice thing about being stuck at home is I can take hot baths.
