I was too passive that match. Multiple times I could have pressed into blue in the early and mid game, but his defense had the appearance of being more solid then it was. But later those pulsars were murder. Was trying to get some catapults to snipe them out but could not manage it, the range up the hill was super hard to hit.
Alpha: First letter, first shot. Alpha damage is how much your initial burst damage is. Super easy to calculate in that it is damage x number of things shooting at once. The only time it gets complicated is on things that do aoe, or have multiple projectiles. a catapult is an excellent example, on BAR it is listed as having 9000 burst damage and 600 dps, but the reality is it doesn't actually apply that 9000 damage to a single target, as it is spread over a wide area. Technically, it can do more than 9000 damage if things are clustered really tightly together over the whole explosion area too. Therefore, vanguard's burst damage is much more reliable, but far worse at area denial. DPS: Damage per second. shot damage/ shot interval in s or damage x shots per second. So if you shoot 3x per second and do 70 dmg per shot, thats an interval of 0.33s between shots 70/0.33= 210 dps.
The sheer volume of metal purple was sending to Green was impressive. Looking through the chat he sent a total of something like 18000 metal through the match. At one moment he sent nearly 5k metal to green which just goes to show how effective he was in supporting his team. Real MVP that dude was.
Great battle by the lower os players camello and stepspoon around 10:45. Stepspoon maneuvering thugs to give the mixed vehicle composition trouble, camello stepping up to push green and dark green back and allow hot pink to take the upper hand and advance, stepspoon nearly picking off camello's com, fortune favoring the bold with camello getting out with 1% 😅
That's a really good idea about using multiple different radar towers to better triangulate position. Maybe it's a similar thing to the surround bonus where the wider the angle between the towers, the more accurate the dot. I think it'd be a fun addition to the game. I was playing recently and apparently my fellow frontliner and I both put radar towers on the front, making 1 of them redundant. This would make it actually somewhat helpful.
Yeah silver is 1k hours I believe. This match is a like a case study in why cortex needs massive buffs... watching so many shiva accomplish nothing while T2 sharp shooters get such insane value even vs T3 should be example enough :
Your alpha damage explanation was positively sad how bad it was. Damage PER second is damage MULTIPLIED by time? Mate, the name explicitly says divided.

Thank you for reviewing this game, it was quite an interesting one, but two air players was an unpleasant surprise. I got cooked in that bombing run.

That was the saddest Jugg I have ever seen.
and ive seen a lot of Juggs in my day
The Jugg knew, if it takes one more step it takes 3 pulsars to the face
Thank you for looking at this one. Lots of interesting plays on a map what is hard to push on.
More Brightworks :D
Great cast and game, nice back and forth.
Letting the mine-layer reclaim but not repair, would be a nice update for vehicles.
I just asked myself if they could reclaim or rep. Seems they cannot. Thanks.
They can repair? XD

Thank you Bright, have a great day.
Very nice. I like players who aren't grandmasters. ^^ Game commentary and explanations are great! Thanks
Probably the most enjoyable low level match ive seen. Thanks for the great vids!
35:30 it was firing tho, it just has a slow attack

I also wouldn't mind having a excess of overlapping radar towers reducing effective hostile jamming tower range.
0:53 I wouldn’t have been able to pronounce it either. 😅
I think it is a german phonetic way of spelling ScoobieDoo
28:48 ohh legion idea small range radar but if enemies are in overlapping fields they are pinpointed
47:02 vanguard just better hound so mass and push
26:24 Omg, NOT shivas vs vanguards
Schubiduuhh is spelled like Scoobidoo just without the c. :) And with Sh at start.
shrek3ondvd? LOL
not my brightest work.

Yes noobs can ruin lobby, so does salty high lvl.
