I would put sharpest lives a little higher, just because of the lines where the patient is pleading for his life and to remember the good times with the lines "give me a shot to remember, and you can take all the pain away from me" those lines hit me, it really gives a sense of humanity toward the patient
I can't believe Mikey Way had to beg for "Disenchanted" to be included on the album. The song really stuck with me throughout my high school years and I can't imagine the album without it.

“Famous Last Words” has got to be my favorite off of this album. From the chorus to the build-up before the explosive bridge of the song, it’s anthemic and triumphant.
Mine too! It's one of the best songs ever, definitely in my top 3 MCR songs :) It helps me through so much and gives me courage and confidence and power whenever I'm feeling really oppressed (by my mom who won't let me be myself most of the time) or simply just sad.
I was at a comic con last November and there was someone dressed as a member of the Black Parade. Before the cosplay contest, he got up on stage and began singing Welcome To The Black Parade. About thirty teenagers that showed up early sang along with him. It gave me straight chills.

Fuck yes. Sleep is number 1. And your top 3 are perfect. I don't really understand why so many people don't like House of Wolves. That one always gets me hyped. I'd probably switch Cancer and Disenchanted, but other than that, our lists are pretty similar.
Rob Cavallo and Don Gilmore are the best producers of the 2000s, with Cavallo’s phenomenal work on 3 of my favorite albums of all time, Black Parade, American Idiot, and Brand New Eyes and Gilmore’s work on Linkin Park’s first 2 albums, the best tracks on Avril’s Under My Skin, as well as late 90s classics like Eve 6’s Inside Out and Lit’s My Own Worst Enemy, not to mention him always making sure that there is a heavy emphasis on distorted guitars in the mix (unlike most mainstream music producers today) as well an incredible ability to make songs transition from quiet piano to explosive power chords seamlessly

I absolutely cannot rank these. Every one of these songs can be my favorite at any moment, from Welcome to the Black Parade to Blood to Disenchanted. I love all of these songs very much and albums like these are too rare. My Chemical Romance is and will always be so important to me and countless others who march in the black parade. 🖤

I am so happy you put Disenchanted on top. This song is so beautiful and it shows a soul realizing that this is the end and it is like a mad reminiscing of your life and a reflection of what the world becomes. I have loved this song since my husband got me to actually listen to this album. This was a great listing for the songs.
Second comment for this video, I love this album SOOOOO much! Coming from a theatre kid, this album is impressively theatrical in the best way. I can literally picture a stage show version of this (better than the American Idiot adaptation, hopefully) and honestly would probably be first to go watch it. Gerard's performance alone is incredible, but with Ray Toro's amazing guitar work I can't give it enough praise! (Yes, I know there are other members. They're just the ones I notice the most when I listen)

This entire album is a fucking masterpiece. Every track is solid. This came out when I was 13, and I adored it so much back then, but I’m a way, I almost feel like I like it even more now than I did back then. So theatrical, so bombastic, rocks hard, yet is so tender. It does it all. The guitar work, the bass lines, thundering drums, somber piano, and soaring vocals. One of the greatest albums ever made, fucking period! Also can’t wait till September 29th 😃

Fuck yes. Sleep is number 1. And your top 3 are perfect. I don't really understand why so many people don't like House of Wolves. That one always gets me hyped. I'd probably switch Cancer and Disenchanted, but other than that, our lists are pretty similar.
Rob Cavallo and Don Gilmore are the best producers of the 2000s, with Cavallo’s phenomenal work on 3 of my favorite albums of all time, Black Parade, American Idiot, and Brand New Eyes and Gilmore’s work on Linkin Park’s first 2 albums, the best tracks on Avril’s Under My Skin, as well as late 90s classics like Eve 6’s Inside Out and Lit’s My Own Worst Enemy, not to mention him always making sure that there is a heavy emphasis on distorted guitars in the mix (unlike most mainstream music producers today) as well an incredible ability to make songs transition from quiet piano to explosive power chords seamlessly

I had a similar experience in 2018 when my grandmother was diagnosed with leukemia she passed away at 8:34 PM july 31 2019 after I got back from pre season high school football practice.

I am so happy you put Disenchanted on top. This song is so beautiful and it shows a soul realizing that this is the end and it is like a mad reminiscing of your life and a reflection of what the world becomes. I have loved this song since my husband got me to actually listen to this album. This was a great listing for the songs.
Second comment for this video, I love this album SOOOOO much! Coming from a theatre kid, this album is impressively theatrical in the best way. I can literally picture a stage show version of this (better than the American Idiot adaptation, hopefully) and honestly would probably be first to go watch it. Gerard's performance alone is incredible, but with Ray Toro's amazing guitar work I can't give it enough praise! (Yes, I know there are other members. They're just the ones I notice the most when I listen)

Wow this was insanely hard to rank. Other than number 1, the rest of it was super hard to rank. This entire album is a fucking masterpiece. Every track is solid. This came out when I was 13, and I adored it so much back then, but I’m a way, I almost feel like I like it even more now than I did back then. So theatrical, so bombastic, rocks hard, yet is so tender. It does it all. The guitar work, the bass lines, thundering drums, somber piano, and soaring vocals. One of the greatest albums ever made, fucking period!
Also can’t wait till September 29th 😃
