I'm not sure if they'd be permanent as in "washable," but I did just do a little more research on them and a lot of people suggest using a clear coat spray paint on top so it doesn't wear away. I think I'll do that if I decide to use the vase for real flowers!

Simmer pots also add moisture back to traditionally dry winter air.
