I was looking around old videos i used to watch as a kid 8 years ago and realized one of them was actually a Wynncraft video in the early days, it was from someone called Lanceypooh and the title was "World of Minecraft". Then, i found this video. looks like I'm playing Wynncraft later haha
This is a really good video! It's actually taught me quite a bit that I didn't know about the early history of Wynncraft, especially the UA-cam side of things, and how much has really changed on the server in the last couple years. It seems like when I discovered it for the first time, it was the perfect time for me personally to fall in love with it and the mechanics that it had. (Especially the crafting, I can't wait to get into that more) I'm still pretty new to the server and the community so I learn something new about it all the time, but I hope I never lose that 'honeymoon' or wonder feeling I have whenever I play or learn something about the lore or otherwise. Here's to more great years with Wynncraft! (Especially with 2.0 on the horizon) And good job on the video once again! Also the fact that I'm included in the list along with other great Wynntubers and content creators, that's kinda surreal lol

I first joined July 17 2013 after seeing the first trailer. Man it has come a long way. There uses to be a vip lounge with a giant zombie spinning on a strip pole hidden in the lobby lol
Your editing is really well done and you seriously deserve way more attention. Could easily see your channel blowing up in the next few months or year, it's really good! And the video was well researched. I feel like I learned a ton more about Wynncraft and it's history, as I only started playing in 2020. I love this game a lot so this was really neat. Thank you :)
Really want to get back into Wynncraft played it early in it's life, but my potato laptop can't keep up with Minecraft anymore oh well can still watch videos on it.
I kid you not, the only reason I wanted Minecraft on the computer was to play Wynncraft I got into it in 2016 when I was 11 (after gavel came out) and got to level 45 then took a brake and got back into it last year glad I waited to start gavel quests until after the rework I’m absolutely loving the realm of light quest line. Story is always fantastic I always dreamed of a Wynncraft tv show where the main cast is never consistent and always changes like the walking dead

Great video. Would like it if someone went over all there was to do in wynncraft so people can decide if they want to play or not but a well made video for so little subs
First joined since 2014. Back then, I'm pretty sure I was around 8 years old, and I vividly remember that I would choose Mage, then just go out and kill a bunch of level 1 zombies, grinding for days to reach level 21 from these low level zombies before gathering mass amounts of them and killing entire groups with the meteor skill just because the carnage was entertaining. Still play the game every now and then to this day, play for a few months, pause for a few months, forget for a year, get back in to the community, so on and so forth. I'm going to rejoin the first guild I ever joined on Wynncraft, Avicia, which I first joined when it was around level 15 or so, once 2.0 drops; I'll probably leave again after a couple months because of school, but I'll definitely enjoy my time while I'm here.
Tbh i dont like wynn that much (sorry if i go on a rant here) i joined wynn last summer and it was super fun for a while but then after around level 35 it go really boring BEFORE I TRIGGER PEOPLE THIS IS A OPINION (Draco just sounds like they are very open-minded :D) so the real reason i didnt like it after level 35 is the lack of spells i mean sure you had upgrades for your spells but you had nothing new to strive for after that level not much was new the same gameplay loop over and over kill mobs -----> get new gear -------> kill mobs ----------> get new gear and it just felt super repetitive but i understand this all is being updated in 2.0 it just felt like it should have always been there but even then this is more of a death by thousand paper cuts theres a lot of things i dislike for example i dont like the ost at first it slaps a lot but after around 6-10 hours of playtime it starts to get boring kinda like listening to a song on loop and a lot of the tracks sound the same because of the limited instruments in minecraft the music isnt bad but they sound to similar and after a while it becomes a annoyance another problem i have is lack of AI for the game most mobs just follow the same AI its either melee or projectiles i mean it would be ok if they just changed it a little bit like making attacks slower but stronger but no most of it is just the AI of the zombie and the rest are just reskins of mobs AI idk maybe add something different like throwing a player or just something different that damages players in unique ways for that mob alone whenever i play wynn non of the enemies are memorable another is the story well tbh the story wasnt all to good for me i didnt pay attention to it because it wasnt engaging and i didnt feel immersed in the world of wynn this might just be my taste in story or hey it might just be the limits on mc (Also just wanted to say elemental damage didnt feel right to me) Finally it has to be the sense of progression its way to fast WAY TO FAST like by the time you finally memorize the layout of a town and finally remember where the item identifier is you are like 2 towns behind it feels to fast by the time i get to one town i need to hop to the next and if i wait to long to go there by the time im there i can power through everything which just isnt fun why yes i understand that some areas should be differently leveled because players want to explore it also makes me feel like im missing out on content and that when i eventually get to it ill just power though it all But i do like the buildings and landscape it looks stunning and thats one thing i can give it sorry for ranting i just had to give my piece on the server i do think its very fun just needs more content and more things to do that aren't repetitive and make me lose interest from time to time i log on for about 20 mins and dont touch it for another month i would like to be a yt on wynn it seems pretty cool but these flaws stop me from playing for more than 20 minutes idk though things can change i could start enjoying it again (have a good day :D)

For the story/progression I would say it's a lot more subtle story wise so I defintely get where you're coming from. Progression wise though I would say it's mainly because people don't really pay attention to the story, otherwise trust me it would 100% take longer(my lets play is a prime example). I would honestly just say try to find a friend to play through the story with you and it'd feel a lot longer(in a good way). Also check out - wynncraft.fandom.com/wiki/Timeline as it defintely helps give a layout for you to atleast see where the story came and is going. Maybe I'll make a video on it who knows :)

I wish they would increase the level cap to something way higher, I may be only level 35 so I don't know the grind that much but it doesn't seem like theres much to do after the max level other than loot running and trying to get the bonus level
Oh for the grind, if you're not doing xp parties etc. the level progression gets WAY harder. Also they'll probably raise the level cap again once 2.0/other provinces come out. I agree, once you're max level there's not much to do but hopefully they'll add stronger raids soon :D Once Dern comes out though, we'll definitely have more stuff to do at endgame.
I dont know if the level progression got altered since I last played (in 2015 or something...) but I remember it took me a similar amount of time to get from level 60 to 65 as it took me to get from 1 to 30.

Wynncraft is terrible. I joined on December 25, 2013 and I clocked in about 5k hours. I was a builder and was treated like trash by Grian until I ranted about him on the forums, at which point he finally ended my misery by permanently banning me. I had one of the original Grian's Ocean Maps that Grian handed to me himself in November 2014, a full set of pure nether armor, a full emerald chess of LE, and a mama zomble's memory. All that for nothing. I even had my own town named after me but now all that's left are some Dogun ruins. Server needs shut down ASAP.
@@Draconz For me the Spell Bound update feels really underwhelming in term of the new sytem. I mean there are new spells and upgrades but it really doesn't seem THAT different from the previous one. Basically the same old four spells with slight variations. Also it doesn't help that the beta only supported two classes out of five when it begun. Really unprofessional.

I killed tasim without clicking and the stats are like a weapon, in combination with Fantasia (3rd best base dps in the game) you will destroy everything with 50k meteors or 35k uppers etc. Pande isnt trash, its in my opinion in hte top 3 bracelets! Wynncraft is terrible. I joined on December 25, 2013 and I clocked in about 5k hours. I was a builder and was treated like trash by Grian until I ranted about him on the forums, at which point he finally ended my misery by permanently banning me. I had one of the original Grian's Ocean Maps that Grian handed to me himself in November 2014, a full set of pure nether armor, a full emerald chess of LE, and a mama zomble's memory. All that for nothing. I even had my own town named after me but now all that's left are some Dogun ruins. Server needs shut down ASAP.

@@Draconz For me the Spell Bound update feels really underwhelming in term of the new sytem. I mean there are new spells and upgrades but it really doesn't seem THAT different from the previous one. Basically the same old four spells with slight variations. Also it doesn't help that the beta only supported two classes out of five when it begun. Really unprofessional.

13:20 ok, you ever seen Pandemonium? I killed tasim without clicking and the stats are like a weapon, in combination with Fantasia (3rd best base dps in the game) you will destroy everything with 50k meteors or 35k uppers etc. Pande isnt trash, its in my opinion in hte top 3 bracelets!
