They will do a little bow and what is to them a whisper (you can hear that they are really trying to control their voice and talking quietly as possible, yet, their whisper still shakes High Hrothgar. lol
Sips , the guys are there only the first time you visit the village , after that you can see them around the village or in their house. That elf that you walk passed when exit the inn was the guy who was talking to the guy who gives the quest

Each Dragon Priest has a mask that you can take from its corpse that has special ablilites. If you can collect all eight Dragon Priest Masks, then you can take them to the dragon shrine near the Labyrinthian. The shrine will be broken on arrival. Take and equip the Wooden Mask from the skeleton near the shrine and you will travel to a point in time when it worked. Place each mask on its pedestal and the center dragon head will reveal a ninth mask that has defensive and Conjuration abilities.
