I purchased a 1650 Fisher (they stopped making this model) in 2017. One guy was so impressed with mine he got the 1550 fisher like this one & has owned bigger boats. He said he feels way more safe in this 1550 stabicraft then he did in his 19 foot deep V boat he owned. This is going on the great lakes in rough conditions. This tells you how well those hull design's work.
Ya it would be nice on when they are going to open but i guess it is going to start in January. I really wanted to go but i had no clue when they are going to open
If stabicraft rubber wrap the hull It be the ultimate stelf boat. Reduceing the water sound against the hull @ pontoon boat. And insulating the floor from the cold and hot tempratures
stjosephwilliams ; Sure is , and the strongest pontoon boat on the market , I know , I had one a few years ago ! I had a 389 center console , a bit smaller but certainly a strong and robust little boat. The Stabicraft factory sells these boats all over the world , more than they sell in NZ . Militaries around the world buy them also as do Charter operators and Marine Industries . They are well becoming more popular in America , especially out on the West Coast and Canada and Alaska. I would recommend this brand to everybody , because of the safety factor alone . We have noticed in NZ now that there are Chinese copies coming into NZ , that are cheaply built , and do not pass the safety test and certainly will not last as long as the Stabicraft. Cheers from a Kiwi .
I've heard of guys taking these 15 foot stabicrafts out in 8 foot seas with no problem, probably could take 10-12 if you had to get back in. Overall this brand of boat has a phenominal reputation for running in rough seas. Edit: Heres footage of this boat in the 18 foot model running in 2 meter swells. ua-cam.com/video/XqA_W89IcqQ/v-deo.html
Tom Slak -25-30k, that’s not bad. If that boat lasted you a decade or more, it’s worth it imo. The selling point to me is the aluminum construction. I worked at a boat factory in the 80’s, there were two models, a 26’ for 128k and a 32’ for 225k, now that’s expensive.
Robert Leidner , I have owned a small Stabicraft before and find they are the best built aluminium fishing boat , so strongly built. When talking about the price , put yourself in this predicament , you`re bobbing about out on the ocean , hoping some boat will come along to rescue you , but if you are in a Stabicraft , the least of your worries are if you can flip the boat over again , after you got smashed by that huge wave . Your Stabicraft will never sink , that is the difference of the price of surviving or buying el cheapo and drowning ! Get it ?
@@rickoliver2059 there's definitely cheaper boats that can take you from A to B. I think it is just peace of mind when you pay a bit extra for a nicer boat such as a stabicraft.
@@jimmyrecard6021 sure , the cheaper boat might last a couple of years , but how many times will it break down ? Also , the cheaper boat may not be up to crossing vast waterways or venturing out on the ocean in case bad weather suddenly comes in , whereas , with a Stabicraft , it is common sense and it does not matter how much it cost to buy , if your life is to be saved , then this brand of boat will be your saviour . When venturing out on the briny , any catastrophe can have undesirable consequences , so I think one needs to purchase with safety in mind , for yourself and family and friends , cheers Jimmy .
@@rickoliver2059 Trust me, if I could, I would get a stabicraft, but for me, I am usually just staying inside of the bay (port phillip bay) so I dont really have a reason to get a stabicraft unless i'm going for kingfish in the rip.
Cool but,... You could buy 5 x used 16' foot lunds with low hours yamaha 30hp 4 strokes with trailers and start a rental business for the price of a single boat.
Just don't buy it at Boat Country in Everett WA Their customer service is the worst. they got everything wrong when I ordered my boat. I received it with a crack in the wind screen. they replaced it when I picked it up the wind screen was broken in 3 places. 5 years later they still won't return my contact to schedule getting it fixed.
You`ll find your life is worth it to survive any catastrophe that may happen out on the water and it certainly can happen . The sea can be the most dangerous place without a very good boat. While you are on dry land , it may well seem a lot of money , but as soon as you are floundering around trying to stay afloat , you`ll wish you had paid a lot more for a boat , too late then though .
Interesting to look at but, it looks like it wouldn't be good at anything. It's like it's suffering from an identity crisis. It tried to be so many different things that it turned out to be nothing.
Looks like a big piece of crap. Good luck going forward to the bow while this little thing bobs all over the place. You are going to get all the negatives of a tiny boat with none of the benefits of a large more stable boat.
One of the best pontoon boats and sold round the world. Been around since the late 80s, handle just about anything. Read up on them then make a comment
Had stabicraft 509 years ago in the bay of islands NZ ,best pontoon boat in the world rock solid platform best small boat I've ever owned.
STABICRAFT ! , the Vampires choice in boating for over 500 years😎

Really looks like a perfect Great Lakes boat.
That boat is sick! It's like a giant jetski. I will definitely be checking this boat out.
watching from the Philippines,,, all i can say, that's would be my dream boat,,,
Just sold my 14 yr old 22 ft Stabi 6 months ago . Awesome boat !
I have an older 389/15 ft Stabi and also fish regularly of a mates 509.
Great workhorse boats and very safe.
You won't regret buying one
the 389 is not a 15ft boat by any stretch of the imagination
So nice. Ut so expensive. Look for the awesome video where they made a custom 15bfor this guy that loved to fish offshore for tuna.
Ya it would be nice on when they are going to open but i guess it is going to start in January. I really wanted to go but i had no clue when they are going to open
I MIGHT be able to buy a brochure on a stabicraft...I'll have to budget wisely for it. Outrageous.
That’s a cool little boat!
Great video, great questions
Awesome boat! Make me want to buy all it them! I wonder why they did not put on the cork floors in the USA, they look impressive.
Just pure Quality material and craftsmanship and can handle the harsh conditions of the South Pacific seas now not many boats can say that.
This boat would be awesome on the river 🌻
How about the 1850 Fisher Pro?!?!?
That boat is perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its bad ass
I'm confused as to what the intended purpose of this lil thing would be. A pilot boat for a pilot boat?
I'm looking to buy this but the 1850. Thanks for the post
That thing would be unreal in honda silver with white accents, 👌😍
Nice boat... I need 1..how much
Can I get a 9.9 kicker on that and will it push it in my local Lake?
NIce boat. Price?
So how does one get a boat like this in Florida Alfred ?
so am i going to have to sell my soul in order to buy this or just my blood and kindneys and speain
22-50k USD
Beautiful boat
People please. This boat isn't for everybody. It's way more than just an aluminum boat.
It looks extremely well built....and it's beautiful. But no deck to fish off of with a bow mount trolling motor....and no live well.
Same boat in a side console configuration. ua-cam.com/video/--byPBI-PZg/v-deo.html
It's one of our top sellers
How much are all the boats would be nice to know ;)
Expensive as heck, that's all you gotts know, and all I know lol.
There's literally no point in not having at least one of these. Even if you live in a desert and hate boats.
Great New Zealand made boat .
out of curiosity, are you still a Yamaha dealer after this video?
Stabicraft sounds like something out of Dexter
Optical illusion maybe, but when you sat in the passenger seat it looked like you would smack your head on the windshield in rough water conditions.
Great and interesting, Krung Angkor may need a lots of units.
What is max swell size?
Wut about jet ya make em ?
There's actually one smaller, the 1450
How much
JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!!
Amen!! John 7:38
Thanks!
Is Stabicraft the New Zealand pontoon boat ?
Designed and built in NZ, been around since the late 80s. Tough boats!
One of many, this style of pontoon boat is very popular here in NZ - probably half a dozen manufacturers

Wow. I want one.
What is its capability in open seas, what is the max running height of swells

Oh just like 80k USD you know no big deal
About 28K.
What's the price of the 1550?
i cant find price anywhere
What no price?
Nice vessel
Looks like it's built for the military.

Needs more rod holders
the good thing about aluminium boats is that you can just add more rod holders.
Hull 5086 MGA?

Kiwi ingenuity :)
It missed the market by not putting a jet drive
I'm saying the same thing. Needs an inboard jet .
Another NZ boat builder has this one.ua-cam.com/video/G29ZBTESL_g/v-deo.html
I'm calling b.s on 1500lbs .. The 60 hp honda prob 300lbs alone .

Chad Sheridan Alloy boats are super light compared to glass
I love it
Very expensive 29k .. could get a brand ne yamaha FSH 190 jet boat for like 4k more ...
