- A few various versions of IKINW. ~ This footage is from Day 2 (October 19, 1979) of the Tusk Tour Rehearsals in Los Angeles. Strictly for entertainment purposes only. A little better quality than those videos already posted by another user (there's some pretty good close-ups here).
I think this is the best Fleetwood Mac song ever. And I know I'm not wrong.
Yes it is
Been my favorite for a long time
I love this song...a lot of people don't like Lindsey's work on Tusk...but in my opinion it was just him letting his creativity flow freely
I pity those people. It's awesome.
bro his work on tusk is amazing. leagues better than on mirage.
@@kddo1455Mirage has the weakest Buckingham output on a Fleetwood Mac album, Oh Diane is his best song on that album and is just an ok tune, much prefer his work on Tango in the Night (Big Love, Family Man, the title track and You and I part II are all great).
But I agree, Tusk has my favorite Lindsey Buckingham songs, even more than Rumors.
Praise
This song gets better every time I hear it.
I know this is an old post, but lately I've been listening to many versions of this song almost constantly! LOVE the 11/0278 version and this rehearsal vid with Stevie's prominent vocals! VERY overlooked FM tune. Fun to hear Stevie work out some of her harmonies while keeping her eyes glued to Lindsey… Fun to watch… (And I HAVE over & over!) Thank you.
Libby McDonald :)
This is fabulous - the gorgeous ringing sound Buckingham gets out his guitar.. My favorite song off of Tusk - my favorite album of the Buckingham/Nicks incarnation of the Mac. I wish Kiln House and Bare Trees had the production quality of Tusk. Oh Well.
I want to vote this song UP a million times!!!
lindsey, lindsey , lindsey!!!!!!
this is fantastic. wonder why they never played it on the actual tusk tour.
The early demo versions of this song are worth listening to as well...The Tusk bonus CD (not sure that's what it's called) has them.
Love Fleetwood Mac always
awesome to hear this live in 79. thanx for posting.
Me encanta ❤
This is GREAT!! Thanks for posting this!! (:
I love this song a Fleetwood Mac masterpiece
Lindsey was the best part of Tusk
Tusk pretty much WAS Lindsey
I have to disagree. Stevie's songs on Tusk are remarkable - "Beautiful Child" is her opus.
@@DrawtheCurtains wasn't saying her work wasn't good, Lindsey's was better imo
my favorite part of the song has always been the part at 1:41
It's so amazing, isn't it? gets me every time. The dreams of a lifetime, expressed in this little melody
ah ah a ah! it's not a word but a deep emotion coming out...i say this song is about cheating, and the person doing the cheating as validating her mind, after a year gone bad, with sad eyes, and she stats the affair, and she insists to herself - and to us - she's not wrong to meet "Somebody outside the door"
This song was rehearsed, but I don't believe it ever made it to the actual set list for the tour.
Damn shame
Always thought it needed the harmonica to pull it off live on a tour.
Such a Buckingham/Nicks sound to this song.
I've always thought this song would do well on the radio heck look at oh what a njght sucess thrugh the decsdes album cersion not live
@iamnotaplatypus hear hear.
seems like Stevie didn't know the song that well.I think she was starting to realize the song may be about her lol
I have a friend who cheated on her husband. This song i dedicate to her. She did it on her terms, for her reasons. Spouses have done that and always will - i cannot judge.
........💋🌟
Lindsey buckingham did that whole album produced and he wanted to something different than rumors and they all mad at lindsey because it not make money like rumors did only 4 million spoil people the on who give him the most of course stevie nicks.
I'm meant I know I'm not wrong not sara
