Chari, I have never tried complete, I have tried the rocket fuel that Kamon praises I have tried hive alive. everyone says the same thing about their product who in the world do u listen to, If u feed them they will build up. Randy Oliver uses nothing; I am going to get some complete. And try it.
I feed them patties and syrup with hive alive and the pollen Pattie has the hive alive as well, that stuff cost so much. 200 for a qt. my bees are doing great. I make my own patties. I have 40 hives. my winter loss was 2, They were no dead out they had q fails and they died 1 by one of old age. Thanks for sharing this. I am going to try this product. I know it is cheaper for sure, have a blessed week
This is my first year using Complete. My bees are drinking it up in Southeast Tennessee !!! One question, does it have a shelf life and do I need to refrigerate after opening? I guess that’s 2 questions.
Dr. Carson says it has a shelf life (if kept cool) for 4 years.
Are any of Dr. Carson's studies published in a peer reviewed scientific journal? If not, then what he says is anectodal and I take what he says with a large grain of salt. I would not buy it unless I see his studies published.

No offense but this guy sounds like a snake oil salesman. May be wrong but just my opinion.
Dr. Carson is very passionate about the product.
