- Camping at 10,000 Feet! High Uintas - Star Lake
Just 1/2 a mile NE of Trial Lake is this beautiful hidden gem! There is no trail to Star Lake, so you'll have to bushwhack over to it, but it's worth the hike.
My gear:
Warbonnet BB Hammock
Eno Rainfly
Eno Fillo (pillow)
Exo-Mountain Gear 3500 Backpack
Danner Vital Boots
Check out the rest of my gear in the "What's in my pack?" Video!

North of Trial Lake
@@EarlOutdoors Thank you. I guess I wasn't paying attention at all. I thought you were in Grandaddy Basin. I appreciate your quick reply. Loving the content btw
@@Chrismagann anytime! It’s a beautiful place. And I really appreciate the kind words! Thanks for the encouragement.
Dude... that fish was massive. We have some awesome spots here in Wyoming I'll be checking out later in the summer. Once the snow runs off. Lots of good fishing. Do you use a fly on your fishing pole? That's all I fish with anymore. 1st video I've checked out and man I cany wait to see more. Glad to see your doing good battle. Bless you and your family man. Happy fathers day as well!!
Hey battle!! Didn’t know you were so close! I’ve actually never fly fished. This was all sinkers and worms.
BANG BANG! Fucking sensational.
When's the next Tech Sergeant Earl video?
How does your dog deal with the fish bones?
Le Xiao as long as bones are raw (uncooked) they are no threat to a dog. A Dog’s ph level in their stomach is significantly higher than a humans. Bones are dissolved and digested pretty quick. Breeding has made dogs look very different, but inside they’re still just wolves. :)
@@EarlOutdoors thank you for the quick response, I have taken my dog gone trout fishing several times this year, so far he only had deboned cooked rainbow. I can't wait to treat him with some fresh caught fatty, thank you Earl!
Just came back from a camping fishing trip myself. The trout I was catching was 1/3 the size . What type of bait and what size hook where you using.
Mario Rios just worms and marshmellows. I’d planned on catching the same size fish you were, so we likely had the same hooks, hahaha. No joke. I was really surprised when they came in!
What month did you go?
June :)
@@EarlOutdoors That’s awesome. My 6 year old wants us to pack into it this summer. Thanks for the video! The tiger was huge!
@@blaketerry6139 that’s awesome! Love it when kids get into backpacking and camping! Hope you guys have a blast!
