Apparently, after making two different musical bases for the English version of Mulan’s “Reflection” (2019) and all other versions, they thought it was a great idea, and now this song numbers not 1, not 2, but 4 different bases! Because it’s a fucking brilliant idea!

I think there is no way but using English lyrics because of rhythms and meanings.
As a Japanese, I don't think it's lazy.
Then,the lyrics of Japanese was made by Miisha Shimizu, who sings "Starting now in Japanese".
@@user-wn8bk1zf8k languages like Korean and Turkish have the exact same problems as Japanese, and yet they solved them brilliantly. Miisha didn't. Hers was a lazy adaptation, nothing to say. If she really wanted to adapt the lyrics _in Japanese,_ she'd have the possibility to. She chose not to. _Choosing_ not to adapt is laziness. Nothing else.

Well, in Japan people tend to use some English words without translating, and they call some titles of Disney songs in English too, so, maybe that’s the reason? They probably did it because they respect Disney, I think.

I simply won't understand why they didn't send the same musical base to the dubbing studios. They literally made more work for themselves by having to arrange multiple scores.
