Engineering Motivation is basically '' RAHHHHHHHH, I WANT TO BUILD COOL SHIT!!!! '' and i live for it.
and then you enter the lecture hall and want to die because some boomer lecturer who's never done anything worthwhile in the real world tells you to learn some bullshit maths you will never see again.
And I want to buy and use cool $#!+ So it all works out! 🗿🥤
I’m planning on building a bipedal militech bot in the future. Rifle + missiles included. Cool right?

Civil engineers build targets. Mechanical engineers build weapons.
Yes along with areospace engineers electo mechanical engineers chemical engineers electrical engineers

The last shot of the fusion reactor was PEAK, perfect combo of Engineering and Material sciences.
Crazy
It is thermonuclear fusion experiment, but still epic

Was literally questioning my choice in automotive engineering because there's barely any girls in my faculty to talk to then I got this. Thanks UA-cam, thanks bro.
@@xtrjackson624 You have no idea how happy I am to read this.
literally every engineering course that doesnt have biology or chemistry is like that.
stop thinking with your cock
Reject girls, embrace cool things
lol I get that too. I think the ratio of boys : girls on my aero eng course is something like 20:1. Certainly feels that way anyway!
But I love my course and wouldn't change it for the world.
I've seen a lot of engineering hype type videos, but those mostly focused on one industry or one field of engineering. This is the first one I've seen that combines so many of them. There's astronautical engineering, aeronautical engineering, automotive, civil, nuclear, astronomy, electrical, material, astronomy, and probably a couple more that I'm missing.
Holy shit this was satisfying to watch.
Im 16 and applying for an areospace engineering internship with northrop grumman this is just the motivation i needed to finish my final project for my interview.
What project?
Good luck on your interview
And I hope you have a great time on grumman
16 and applying to be an intern. Bright future my man, good luck!
HOLY SHIT BRO THAT'S SICK! What's your final project?? I love it when my workplace takes out the grumman tracker and shows off what the incredible engineers who restored it did with it (aviation museum Aviodrome in the Netherlands)

4 years into career, this is a great video. I will use this whenever someone now asks “why engineering”
I am studying Medical Engineering and am currently struggling from one day to the other. Today I even catchted myself thinking about throwing the towel.
Then right before going to bed this video comes around. Although it primarily depicted automotive, aviation and naval engineering, it still spoke to me. It reminded me that someday our hardships - whatever they are - will pay off because we as Engineers are not only the reason the world keeps spinning but also that we help humanity so it can move towards the future one step at a time.
Well, this song is about Nikki Sixx (Bass player for the band) overdosing on drugs and being revived by the paramedics so it's kinda like medical engineering.
Never give up mate, I was poor and not the smartest student on the class, but now I work for the government on a energy research company. It is possible, seek mental health and go ahead!
Biomed guy here. I'm already starting to turn things around with my major, and all of those are great reasons why to keep going. We are the future!
Idk why but for some reason a lot of songs just become better when you put engine, gun and rocket fire sounds on them
not even an engineering student but this is badass
join us ooo
"Fuck the Polar Bears." - every time Engineers design the coolest shit
The engineering spirit returning to my body after this video to push me through another all-nighter studying for a propulsion class midterm
That last shot of the fusion reactor literally brought a tear to my eye. We're living in times people thought to be fantasy, and our progress is skyrocketing with no end in sight. 300 years ago, we had no idea how to harness electricity. 150 years ago, we thought powered flight was impossible. 121 years ago, the first powered flight was achieved. 66 years later, we did what was thought to be impossible: landed people on another celestial body and brought them home safely. 1942, we harnessed the power of the atom to generate power. 1983, the internet was created, one of the most influential inventions in the history of humanity. 1991, we harnessed the untamed power of the sun, and witnessed controlled fusion. 2022, we have the first net energy gain from fusion. This year, the most advanced AI model yet was made public. It's possible we'll see sapient AI before 2030. Our space economy is growing rapidly. We're gearing up to become a multi-planetary civilization. We, as a species, are one of the greatest things the universe has ever created. It's possible life is a massive cosmic mistake, but we certainly fucking aren't.
WE ARE THOES WHO WILL CLAIM THE STARS IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY, RAISE YOUR WRENCH AND RISE TO THE CHALLENGE
Let's gooooooooo!!!!!!!
Helllll yeaahhhhh!!!!!
watching this after failing an exam is really motivating, imma go study now, wish me luck
no way, me too

As an engineering student this about made me act out. Love it.
That high aoa lex vortices on F-16 was cold
We live in a world where "I went and saw the rocket landing last night" is a reasonable sentence and its all because of engineers.
this plays when an engineer must test himself his own crazy creation

Currently finishing my 3rd year of university, chemical engineering.
You will love it brother. It has soooo much to see, and you'll learn super neat stuff here. This career ROCKS, I don't regret joining it.
I hope to see you some day as a fellow chem. engineer, good luck with everything 🔥🔥💥
im a mechanical engineer already, but my goodness if I didn't feel an immediate surge of motivation when he finished his monologue by pointing to the rocket at the exact time it ignited while the song also started.... pure and raw motivation right there
Ngl, I hopped on UA-cam to avoid some Physics 2 HW... this gem popped up. Time to continue the grind 😎😎😎

Def showing this to my engineering students ❤
Glad you liked it!
If my engineering professor showed this to me I would still be be going to class every day.
How did it go???
God bless whoever designed polar bears 🙏
As one of the proud peaks of the U.S Military. I approve of this video.
Side Note: 4:21 thanks for including me in the video.
Graduated from automotive engineering a few months ago, working for a big oem now, just came back from a whole day of training to get my basic prototype driving license, got recommended this video and cried out of happiness right after…thank you
Engineers are the backbone of society. Huge respect to them
Engineering is the process of making math and science actually useful.
the polar bear during the slowdown followed by the wind turbines in the drums thereafter brought a hopeufl tear to my eye. Thank you so much for this.
i wish i had footage from then my uncle worked at a radio station in the 70's, the anodes on the final amplifier tubes would pulsate shades of cherry red to the volume of the music

Everything ever built by humanity has a engineer that designed it, a fabricator to build it, and a technician to maintain it. This simple combo has made us the only species on Earth to leave our planet and plant a flag on the FUCKING MOON.

As a senior mechanical engineering student during finals week, this was much needed.

I'm a racer (rookie) but and i think i should give engineering a try, not to mention if both success i could even build car and race them myself!
Watching that toroidal chamber slowly light up with an ethereal blue energy as the plasma spun up to over a hundred million degrees centigrade was the single most inspiring part of this. We are slowly learning how to copy the sun itself.
This genuinely brought tears to my eyes, I am taking aeronautical engineering this year. What a great video.
This made me appreciate the role of engineers in building our modern world even more. respect
I can imagine some random pumped up engineer from Texas Instruments jamming out to missile fire behind him screaming “FUCK YEAH I MADE THAT!”
