OH MY GOODNESS! THANK YOU! Every video I tried told me how to download a map but not how to actually use. I tend to have a lot of problems with navigation
Thank you! I had no ideal about this, it will be very useful where I tend to drive. No more random turns for me!
Glad it helped!
Very helpful video so in order to download the map that I will be driving do I still need internet service ?
Definitely will come in handy in few area near my area that the phone service goes out for 5 miles
It's been a life saver for me!
Always meant to check out that option. Thx for doing this.
Glad to help!
This is a great video. This is the closest I have seen that shows you how to USE offline maps. You glossed ober the fact that you need to put the phone in offline mode to see it in full glory.
Brilliant video...clear and simple instructions on how to use the offline maps. Love the deep voice too ha ha ha... I agree with other comments... Radio voice or even story telling/book reading, I would say!!
Thanks Zach, I didn't know this. Very helpful tip for me as I am always up in the valley's in West LA and I absolutely lose my signal, but I've done it so much, I kinda know my way around lol. Hope all is well.
Glad to help! Maybe it'll get you out of a jam at some point down the line.
Yeah, thanks are good here overall. Thank you for asking! I hope all is well with you also.
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you! And, I drive "quickly"! 🤣
Hey Zach it's been a while hope all is well for ya. I don't know if I told you but I quit doing doordash they screwed me over so bad I went to uber rideshare and making alot more money then I did doing doordash. But I still watch your videos here and there! Thanks for sharing this 🙌🏽 it may come in handy for me also on uber . I also told my neighbor about your channel she does DD she's gonna check your videos out!
Hey Christine! I hope all is well.
Awesome that you're still doing gig work. I'm not sure if you knew this or not, but I'm also a contributor for The Rideshare Guy. You can catch my videos there every Tuesday, but you may also get a lot of value out of the live show they do on Wednesdays called "Show me the money club." Chris and Sergio have a similar style but on the rideshare side.
@ZachDrivesFast thanks I'll definitely check it out ! Everything is good here. Going on vacation this week to Florida leaving out of Philadelphia. Can't wait! Going to Tampa FL to be exact lol . So I'll check out your live and all that the following week. Thanks again 😊
@@christinemarie5589 Have a great trip!
Thank you Zach. I will try this. Great voice especially for voice - overs. Something to think about!!!!😊❤
Thanks Zach for sharing this and helping fellow drivers..much appreciated.
I might try it one day just to test it out, but I don't really need to, because if I'm in the people of nowhere I have a dedicated GPS that takes voice commands so I can can just be lazy and shout out a reference point and be on my way without the extra steps. Dedicated GPS uses satellite and I'm pretty sure that's what google maps is doing offline. However there can be times when GPS's can be slow to acquire satellites so it's good to have both options available.
You should! Give it a go!
I gotta get a GPS with voice commands also. What brand is it?

This was the exact video I was looking for! Thank you so much.
Omg thanks Zach i have a few area's that get no cell service. Thanks a bunch, going to do this!! 😊
Zach, thank you for the outstanding tutorial! You are a great presenter!
I’m glad it was helpful!
good info! Haven't figured out how to load the map offline for my trip from Texas to Colorado though.. lol
Hey Sparky! Always good to hear from you.
I'm sure you could cache an area that would encompass the entire route, but it may take up quite a lot of space ;-)
Wow! Excellent information!!
Glad it was helpful!
Informative presentation! Thanks and a "like'
thank you
I really don't have to many issues with dead zones for GPS but it does act up sometimes.
Same in my market. There's only a handful of places that I lose service, but they're not easy to navigate. Check out offline maps though, you never know when it might help!
Download now! I thought about buying a road map after I switched to Verizon in case I got stranded again. This would have been helpful
Glad to help!
Very good.. definitely will come in handy..
Great Radio voice bud, you're in the wrong industry
Great information
Thanks for checking out the video!
Thank you, Zach.
Worked great, thanks!!
Definitely will. Ty
Thanks Zach
Thank you!
Ty !
even if our off the grid, if you have the offline map, your phone will use it for GPS when your in that zone of no coverage.
Using this in Sequoia national park
