I'm sure most or all of us have regretted a few key and or mouse clicks in more than one game. So far, this noob makes errors of omission, forgetting to build a Barracks and a Blacksmith. Or another favorite of mine, on Black Forest, finding the enemy base and not Scouting more to see if there might be a back door into my base. My other favorite moves, or non-moves, are to forget some or most upgrades! Ahh good times! Only been playing about 4 months so far. A lot to learn and commit to memory yet.

I actually consider daut castle one of the more important mods for competetive for that reason. Because it is just like with the interface mod: it makes sure that you WILL recognize a castle drop as soon as you scout it and that is very valuable. Because while castle foundations do look differently from other foundations there is still te potential to confuse it with a forward siege workshop when you are busy doing several things at once. All hail lord DauT!
Btw, your Clickable Felled Trees is redundant here. It is lower priority than Selected Small Trees, so its textures are not used. But Anne himself incorporated Clickable Felled Trees into his mod, so that you dont need to be subscribed to Clickable Felled Trees.
You know what'd be really cool? Trees that dynamically resize as you chop a woodline, making sure the ones that would be obscuring something near the edges are always small.
He would lie in wait for you to show up in multi-player and perhaps punish you FatSlob style, drag it out until you quit just so you could go to bed in the same night rather than the next day! I saw that T90 found a game that lasted well over 9 hours recorded, but at least 14 hours game time spread over a few days. Cute idea though.

That Vululu mod is amazing - I've resigned vs AI when they play monks, I can't stand the sound of a million conversions. Now it's only annoying because they are sending my units back at me.

Eventually I realized, oh, they re-released AoE2 again under the "Definitive edition" So i'm expected to buy this game for a third time if I want updates. Yeah, no. The people who originally made AoE 2 are awesome. But the game, like most others, are now run by greedy money-grubbing fucktards who don't deserve my money. Thank god for torrents.

Daut castle is not just aesthetic/funny haha mod for me. It's really convenient to see if enemy is castle dropping you. Give me additional alertness

Have you tried the Building Foundation Labels mod? It is immersive as well as noticeable due to the huge castle label.
Still amazed how I've been playing the game for a year or so, and yet there's still so many things to learn from TheViper.

Configuring my Display Mode as TheViper allowed me to have a better resolution, which is really important in the game.
