Even if it doesn't flip over (which I don't think it will) you might want some sort of outrigger type stabilizer jacks. No fun being in a camper rockin' all night making you seasick. Looks great so far!
Nice build Gary! Love the weld on nutsert idea. Perhaps removable corner posts to react the overturning moment? Easy to do addition if needed. Look fwd to the completion. 👍👍
Hey now, I had the depth set on the saw…. I didn’t leave the blade down all the way 😂😂 Happy New Year my friend, looking forward to your progress this year.
Great job, Gary. Have you thought about using panel adhesive like Mike Fn uses on Bus floors? Might be some type of an epoxy which will definitely stick!
Thank ya! I thought about using panel bond however I used what I had here and the 3M tape is more than strong enough to hold the panels in place. Several others have built trailers with the same tape and never had issues.
G'day Gary, Everything is looking awesomely good. I've been using 3M 08115 Panel Bonding Adhesive. Its water proof and you can weld through it. You should work it in on your next project. Q. Does the roof top tent have a bathroom and toilet. 🤔. So thanks for sharing man I'm looking forward to seeing the tent on top. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
Hey buddy! I think that’s the same panel bond I have saved however I didn’t have it on hand and needed to get this part wrapped up. The butyl tape and seam sealer will hold it water tight. Nah, no bathroom unfortunately but there’s usually a near by tree 😂 Tent is going on next week 🤙 Appreciate you as always!
Nah, I don’t want a bus. Plus I could build several of these for the price of a bus. Also, with a bus once you’re setup you have to pack everything away if you want to go somewhere as where the trailer can stay behind and fully setup.
Handy.
Just wait…. It’s gonna get cool real fast!
I have faith. No doubt it will work.
I appreciate that, I do as well!
Looking Good...
Thanks 👍
Way to much fun ! Thank you !
Glad you enjoyed it!
Loving it gary
Thanks buddy 🤙
Looking good Gary!! thanks for the video.
Thank you sir!
Happy New Year!
Great Video Gary, digg’n the build😀😀
Thanks bud!
Diggin' this build man. Simple, effective, STRONG, and looks rad too. Can't wait to see it completed.
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Stay tuned as it’s going to come together pretty quickly.
Thanks for being here 🤙
When you get batteries...LIFEPO4 Lithium! 1/3 the weight, incredible performance!!
All I can say is 😎
Very nice Gary.
Thank you buddy!
Very cool! Keep them coming!
Absolutely sir!
Very nice!!!!
Thank you much!
looks good!!
Thanks!
Great job, I might eventually do that with my trailer
It’s still pretty light considering what all has gone into it.
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
There's always gonna be doubters so keep on keeping on. Only one way to figure things out
That's super clean BGood 👍🇩🇪
Always my friend, I’ll keep doing what I do and enjoying the journey in the meantime.
Appreciate you as always 🤙
Looking good.
Thank you! Cheers!

Good call, I actually end up installing one on each corner just to ensure things are stable.
Appreciate ya as always!!
Looking great man that will be super nice for your expeditions
It should do the trick and be much better than a ground tent.

Thank you!
I thought about removable “out riggers” as a worse case if the jacks in the corners aren’t enough.
I appreciate you being here 🤙
Thats it tomorrow im going out to cut my grass with the circular saw😂 that was a smart way to cut the sheeting 😉👏😎
Hey now, I had the depth set on the saw…. I didn’t leave the blade down all the way 😂😂
Happy New Year my friend, looking forward to your progress this year.
@@VWJawbreaker hahaha I couldn't resist ;)
@@DemopVWgarage I know you couldn’t and I wouldn’t expect anything less! 🤙😂
Looking really good, Gary, but I don’t think you’ll have much headroom😁
Haha! I can just barely sit up in it….
But that’s not what it’s for 😎
Looks Great! I see you wore your special helmet 😂
Thanks man!
Hope you’re having a great new year.
i LOVE the way you work threw problems. It's really nice.
I don’t hide anything and show my process. Who knows, it might help someone out one day.
Looking forward to seeing your project progress!
Very nice job Gary! Good job overcoming your obstacles and using your noggin :)
Haha, so you’re saying I do have a brain?!? 😂
@@VWJawbreaker most definitely!
@@V8N8T I knew I liked you!
Coming together nicely.
Yes sir! More to come soon!

Awesome build yet again, looks great as well.
Thank you good sir!
Gary use butyl caulk on the seams , it never dries out
The tape on the underside works the same way.
I was thinking of panel bond on the seams. Glad you used the tape. I didn’t think of that good and easy idea@@VWJawbreaker
@@RJLM330 considering I already had the butyl tape, figured mine as well use it.
I did think of panel bond also, just didn’t have any in hand.
Plus the $$$@@VWJawbreaker
Looks great, man. Super clean. Dig it.
Appreciate it!!
Looks great brother! Can’t wait to start mine!!!!
Appreciate it brother! Hopefully yours will be closer than you think.
I wish I could work in Timelapse.
Me too…. Hours worth of work in seconds.

Great execution! Looks great! Are you going to paint to match Sixty?
Thank ya much!
Eventually, if the budget allows.
Just buy a bus Gary !!!!!
LOL

@@VWJawbreaker I keep a 2pcs rod and reel under back seat
@@jimmywilkinson9190 smart, I need to do the same!!
Haha, adapt and overcome. We’re you a Marine? 😁😢
That’s what I try to do!
No, unfortunately I wasn’t in the service.
Appreciate you being here.
Nice Crack-a-lackin’ in this episode.
Thank ya!
