Yeah, its refreshing, and no one likes to listen to the same stuff all the time, but I have to admit I miss old thrice. Their old stuff was unique and different too...
The old stuff is still there for everyone to listen to. I've been a fan since Illusion and they're still my favorite band to this day. I've evolved along side them I guess. They were basically kids back when they wrote this. I definitely know my music taste has changed since ten years ago.
i was lucky enough to see this live set at the Roxy in Boston.. when they played with the used and my chemical romance.. forget what year it was.. but it was an amazing feeling to hear the entire crowd singing along to EVERY song... absolutely amazing
ahh soo good to hear the people singing. brings a tear to my eyes. ive never heard thrice sound like this. when i went to see them they sounded identical to the album. which i liked. but this sounds cool too
Bring it on at Camden Electric Ballroom, waited too long bros, finally a European tour. We all know they should have headlined the show with Coheed and Cambria at Brixton Academy. Thrice's performance was way better than Coheed, way back in 2006.
i dont like their new stuff, but I haven't given it much of their chance... their first CD's were definitely better than artist in an ambulance and such tho
Really? I think the songs on TIoS were kinda more similar than the rest of their work. On TAITA, Vheissu, and Alchemy Index, each one song has a different personality. But 'more similar' songs for Thrice is like saying slightly smaller than the grand canyon, knw what I mean?
opinion respected, but wow i definatley say that its the opposite, hands down. don't get me wrong, i LOVE this stuff too.. but the alchemy index... i mean... that's comparable to the beatles' "sgt. pepper's" if you ask me.
This used to be a video I remember seeing back in the date 2003. 2004 punkrockvids was the best lol rip old times and concerts fuck covid

YES. I snapshotted it and made it my desktop bg. Rez sucks but the epicness of the whole thing more than made up for it.

Is it just me, or does Dustin look really different with that mop on his head?
you mean never?
the last good punk rock band was Adhesive after that... zero
Jerome Fecto thrice is not punk rock. Not at all. No, just no.
i try to love 2000'S punk but i just can't, they suck
I wouldn't really consider these guys punk.
you serious? i didn't like vheissu but the aclhemy index discs are their best work. amazing
