Back when I worked at Sephora (2016), our managers told us that the Sephora collection was just Dior formulations repackaged. Never truly tried to compare them myself, but I wonder if anyone has.

@@Tatican you make the Ulta and Sephora brand a series? I am always seeing people comparing the two brands and it would give you a great deal of excellent content- even doing dupes or alternatives that are less expensive compared to high end brands the stores also carry. Also, I know you have a huge collection so sometimes reminders of fantastic products would be helpful. Suggestion- the Ulta Crush Complexion foundation is absolutely amazing and the price is so good for how good it is! And the Ulta Youthful Glow concealer is so skin like and great for 40 up skin for under the eyes. I think you would love the two separate or together. Love ya and thank you for all you do for us!!!❤
LOVED this video - I’ve always kinda turned my nose up at Ulta makeup and now will be more open to trying some. Would love to see this as a series - e.g. Hourglass vs Nars, Covergirl vs Maybelline - etc etc. would be awesome

I just have to say, I really appreciate and enjoy how you describe products, most influencers will say "oh this feels just like the Mac so and so" and when you compare it to other items you only understand if you tried that certain item. So I guess thanks for being great at your job! 😊
I love both for different reasons as Ulta is starting to get more high up stuff. Also I love that the Ulta points can be used as a coupon and you get more options for points.

The ULTA Everyday palette is amazing. I use it daily with my MAC paint pot. You cannot beat the quality for the price and the packaging is nice too. I wish their promotional shadows sets were as good.
Thanks for doing this Tati, these in house brands actually have really good sales when they come around and we never know what’s worth spending our money on. Rather than other influencers shoving paid sponsorships on products even they know are subpar. Again, thanks for reviewing these brands ❤ p.s Ulta brand better 😝

i love to see the love on the ulta beauty collection! as a former employee, I used to love getting the gwps that came with buying so much of ulta's brand that I really got a good idea of what the products were like and tati nailed it! I agree with most of her opinions on ulta's collection! I think there was no ulta concealer cause it was sold out, it's that good! i feel that ulta's collection is slept on, and there really are some hidden gems!
I love the Ulta Fiber Brow Tint, I've bought maybe 4 or 5 tubes already. They just reformulated the packaging and it's so much better then it used to be, the wand is much smaller and precise. As someone with skinny little brows, I like it a lot better.
I loved the non-fiber tint they used to have which was replaced by the fiber one. I don’t need fibers and was bummed at the reformulation. I will have to try after your comment though.
I really enjoyed being able to see the way the different Textures of makeup performed on you from side to side as well!

I absolutely loved this video! The contest between the two lines of makeup was so interesting. As far as the finished look of both, I wasn't able to decide which side I liked best. I hope to see another video similar to this one in the future. Maybe a side-by-side of drug store brands? I would like to see a contest of cream eye shadows and blushes. I hope Tati will consider it and give it a go.

Loved this video! I think Sephora's Pocket Palette in Cool Brown is more similar to the Ulta one and more pigmented too, it's my every day/travel palette. Also, love their eye and face creams, so soft!

I LOVE the full coverage ulta concealer. It’s a natural finish and is my all time fav. It doesn’t emphasize my lines like other concealers do and it has great coverage. You should def try it!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put in your Amazon storefront a section specifically for skincare! I feel so lost lately trying to figure out what skincare products to use, when to use them, in what order to use them.... It would be amazing if you could do a video just on skincare items. Personally, I'm more referring to things like cleansers, moisturizers, serums, toners, etc rather than tools. There are just so many products out there and it's really hard to figure out what to use (especially if you're on a budget!).
That Ulta pallet is awesome, I got it a couple months ago and was really impressed

Love this video! I now have a few new products to try out. You could expand this video into a "brand wars" series of videos, that would be fun. Another great video would be trying different makeup placement or different makeup techniques. You mentioned doing your eyes differently, maybe you could try out different blush placements, contour+blush vs just blush, etc. Always love your videos! You are fun to watch, and I always feel like I learn something.

I have that tiny blue eight pan shadow from Ulta shown in the intro clip package. Got it for $6 and it’s a perfect find for my travel bag. I have to go out of town for work quite frequently and have found I can do a lot with it.

The ulta eyeliners are great I think!!! I love the shade mink. It’s like a chocolatey brown. They are a little smudgier though so just depends what you’re looking for. So easy to use though, glide on well

To use as eyeshadow tape AND to prep my under eyes…I LOVE the Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. They stick to the under eyes and come up on the edges of my eyes to give me the effect of eyeshadow tape but the outside is like cloth not gel so I can easily blend out over top of it. PLUS they plump and hydrate and smooth my under eyes to make it PERFECT for concealer! They’re kind of expensive for me so I save them for days I want my makeup especially Flawless, but I absolutely LOOOOOOVE them!

I love Sephora’s baked face powder compact (clear lid) and Sephora lip stick in the color Tan Lines. (If you know, you know! Best neutral color lipstick) And, from Ulta I love their Fiber Brow Tint. Fun video ❤
