Hearing "let's go!" in the intro conditioned me into expecting Max Dood's intro was gonna play lmfao.
I'm super mid at this game and the combo trials gave me good info on basic places to start for what connects, a few good places to start drive rush combos based on range, and how his crazy ass juggling timing works. It's fairly practical, but his timing and rhythm is damn tricky with his combos.
Same. I have to tell myself Light Shoryuken into backwards medium hadouken to be able to hit his juggles
@@komborekt7016 love it. Heh. I'm just glad I'm getting good enough at the basics to have gotten through a fair few trials and now how to use some of it.
His juggles usually 'done on first frame' timing, it's wild. Its technically one framers but thankfully there's a buffer system.
@@manuelito1233 you're absolutely right about that, but it's also the combo between snatcher, uppercuts, and which part of kill rush to use. Lol. But it could be worse. Could be guile standing normal cancel into flash kick ridiculous

They took the simplest character of SFV and made him one of the most complex.
For DP on hitbox, I personally quickly tap down forward twice + punch

Instant DP, hold down the buttons in this order: forward > down > punch+up (use the other hand to press both at the same time). Fastest way, never fails! Hitbox has a lot of guides on these types of shortcuts on their site. c:
Brian really has to learn the SOCD shortcuts that abuse SF6's input shortcuts for DP. DPs are hella easy on hitbox for SF6.
Also QCF-HK is a real good anti air. It's way more vertical than the animation would suggest.
On a related note: df, d, df+p is arguably one of the most important dp shortcuts.
It keeps your character crouching which gives you a few more frames to successfully dp. Also invaluable for hitting crosscuts in certain positions on the screen.
I use all the socd shortcuts, I do not find them easy at all to do in a match. Will take lots of practice to do something I can do without thinking on stick
i hold forward and tap down once for dp, if you press the punch right as you release the down input it comes out quickly 👍
I found this to work really well. Also hold down, tap forward twice and button.
sf6 ed is such an improvement over sf5

Instant DP on hitbox (hold all buttons as you do it) : forward > down > punch+up (both of these with the other hand). :)

They could've been frustrated with how the V Trigger/Skill system dumbed a lot of the character designs down
@@aledantih6524 ...let's be honest, the character designs were dumbed down because they wanted them to be. V-Trigger and V-Skill didn't have anything to do with it, there's nothing about those two that necessitates simpler characters.
@@Copperhell144 maybe it was someone like Elena in 4 that made them go down that route, maybe it was something else but with Rashid, AKI (representing FANG) and now Ed it definitely feels like they're venting frustration with their old character kits, seems like they wanted them all to be very specialised

why are you even using a box if its difficult for you? Why cheat *and* play worse lmao. Its an unfair advantage but its not *that* big an advantage that you have to swich or get left behind. And of course, its only advantage if you can use it intuitively, and especially if you used the socd BS stuff.
