I’m planning to obtain my Panamanian passport next month through citizenship since both my parents are from Panama 🇵🇦. I’m planning to travel to Russia 🇷🇺 and Belarus 🇧🇾
Nice video, please , remind that there's a risk that the deposit will be WITHOUT any protection....Panamanian banks have no deposit protection system although it's in the national bank ... And there is no central bank of Panama. It's very important for all. This travel document is NOT recognized by most countries. The process is not just 2 weeks. It takes 4_6 months even more.
@ywueeee I know someone who did it. But they withdrew. Lost more than 10 %. Of deposit. If you know any Panamanians, especially those working for insurance companies, banks, you will know it.
I am not sure who would find this appealing, the interest is essentially nothing. If it were $100K then, ok I could see it making sense. At $275K deep you may as well spend a little more and go the real estate route.
I do research on the ground and meet the right people rather than just doing Google searches. Yes, people have managed to use such a passport without issues. And at times they have issues. Ambiguous.
Australia has given a similar travel passport to 3rd world refugees who are non resident of Australia for years and being used to travel to 1st world countries with no issues, they are probably more common around the world than meets the eye but deliberately kept under wraps.
@@bradnomad1011 is there some program other than refugees that can apply for such passport in Australia? do they have a separate citizenship text in that passport?

Thanks for sharing this little-known possibility. I liked the format with the 3 of you.
locking up 300K usd for 5 years, is a pretty big risk just for a passport...but good to know its available

Congrats!
@@TheWanderingInvestor thanks 🙏
This is interesting. I think there is a lot of value here for someone who has a poor passport with limited access.
A PASSPORT without CITIZENSHIP is a GUN without BULLETS!
Great content! Thanks for sharing this :)
great info, as usual. although i could not understand what sum to be deposited ; (
About $275k right now for people who qualify for the Friendly Nations Visa. More for the others.

have you gone through this? and is it actually not safe to park money there? how do the rich Americans do it?

This is amazing. But the risks blow it for me. I don't want to fly somewhere and maybe get refused entry.
It’s part of the thrill 😉
Better to pay 100$ and apply for a visa 😅
Thanks for sharing
interesting and very unique
Interesting, thanks for sharing. Is the deposit in USD or in local currency?
Panama uses the USD 👍
When was this recorded and what is current interest rate at the Panamanian Bank? (I calculated 3.7% with the numbers provided)
Yup. You can get 4%. We were being conservative.
Assuming the USD survives the next 5 years... Which is up for debate
with the use of the Panama travel passport can a person travel with the same country listed in the real panama passport with Panamanian citizenship?
Theoretically yes
@@TheWanderingInvestor great, thanks!😉🔺
Its too expensive to get a travel documents. There are many other ways to get residency with mich lower amount.

You are paying for it through inflation
Saint kitts and nevis is 250k lot better visa free access
One is a donation, the other one is an investment you get back with interest
One thing has nothing to do with the other
Who junk will pay $250K for 5 years passport as you can use your own traditional passport?.....
@@jeanleguillou-j8c Makes sense for people that have a weaker passport for travel purposes
Is this for real? Why hasn't nobody heard about this? Is this new? Has anyone legally travelled to the visa free countries without any issues?

Sorry, that should be resident of Australia but non citizen.

Does this "Travel Passport" include permanent residency? Is there an expedited path to full citizenship?
I also would like an answer to this question. Still waiting...
