Dear Money9, A question for Economicom. Central Govt debt has increased by approx 110 lakh crore in last 10 years. At broad level it seems bulk of it has gone into building infrastructure. Which means it has gone into construction industry and to large number of people as compensation for land acquisition. Then how come all this money is not fuelling demand and consumption. Is it possible that this money got directed into stock markets and most of it lost to big sharks in F&O and crypto trades.

Why IT companies are not coming out of silent layoffs (micro layoffs). Job markets seems frozen. It can't be the only AI who is responsible. Please explain the reasons and when we can see openings as usual in future.

The consumption of house hold is directly proportional to the income and inversly proportional to the inflation, considering that the employment opportuinities in INDIA have declined
The present Govt have failed to geberate more employment opportuinities and the focus of govt. is more of distributing free ration that is putting an excess burden on the govt.
the govt should rather focus on generating more job opportuinities with decent earnings and shold focus on decreasing the inflation.
Cewrtain policies of the present Govt. has also boost in creating monopoly in the market hence creating more challanges in unorganised sector.

This comparison is totally wrong.
Today in canada packet of potato wafer 235 gms is 6.25 canadian dollars means 387 rupees.
So their consumption is high in dollars and they are all dependent on readymade food.
In Canada normal man is hungry as compared to India on today. This scenario is also in US and Europe.
In one month price of petrol hikes 30 % in Toronto Canada.
So India is too much better condition as compared to US, Canada,Europe etc.
This is my experience from Canada.
People have no money to eat enough and proper food in Canada.
India needs 8 to 10 percent of GDP growth to reduce unemployment.
GDP per capita is more important than the total value of GDP.
