    This is the recording of a live webinar held on 10 July 2024.
    This webinar provides an overview of how to address and manage a range of climate change risks and environmental impacts affecting healthcare facilities, with the goals of: a) enhancing climate resilience to withstand climate shocks and stresses, and b) implementing environmentally sustainable interventions to improve safety, quality of care, and environmental protection. Interventions aimed at strengthening the climate resilience of healthcare facilities and promoting environmental sustainability focus on four key requirements for delivering safe and quality care in the context of climate change: 1) Health workforce; 2) Water, sanitation, hygiene, and healthcare waste management; 3) Sustainable and clean energy services; and 4) Infrastructure, technologies, products, and processes. The session includes the sharing of country experiences and interactive, small-group activities and discussion.
