I’m so glad you read and liked the Library of Shadows! I loved the spooky atmosphere too. Out of all of the fall themed books I read last month that was my favorite one! I read Over My Dead Body last year and loved the art but I wanted the story to be more fleshed out and longer. It felt like it focused 100% of the story on the conflict so the characters didn’t really get fleshed out.
Yes, I’m really happy that I ended up reading The Library of Shadows last month. It was the perfect fall/spooky season read and it was definitely one of my favorite fall themed reads as well. ☺️ Also glad to hear your thoughts on Over My Dead Body. The art style was definitely what drew me to it as well. I’m a little sad to hear that the characters didn’t get super fleshed out, but also glad to know that so when I do read it I can go in with adjusted expectations.
