@@demertknight Very true.I'm Japanese, and live in Fukuoka. Although I believe Tokyo has its own strengths, it's crowded with people all the time. Fukuoka on the other hand isn't as crowded,so you can visit many of its tourist attractions in a day.In addition to that, Fukuoka is said to have the best food in Japan.There are countless great restaurants, so I really recommend you trying many restaurants in your visit!
I just moved to Fukuoka a few months ago from Tokyo after doing a trip around the world, and I am so excited to have found your UA-cam. I don't know much about Fukuoka yet, so I think I'll check out the Freedom Market this Sunday. I look forward to more videos!

I visited Fukuoka 6 years ago and, to be honest, I really wasn't impressed. But watching your videos makes me want to revisit. It seems like I missed a lot of cool stuff. I remember going to the Ramen Stadium in Canal City, We got there before it opened. I loved how all the employees of the different vendors gathered before opening the doors and had an energizing chant.

Vegan ice cream in Japan! Yay! I love how this night market event is setup right next to a river. The ambience was perfect with the lighting. I would love to attend one of these, but as a vegan I would worry about the availability of plant-based food items. Thanks for sharing!
This is really cool, and it's nice to know that these night markets are taking hold in Japan. We have quite a few different Asian night markets/festivals during the year, in Seattle. But the C-ID Night Market is my favorite, of those type(Chinatown-International Night Market). However, my favorite actual matsuri, are always the ones hosted/thrown by either my Buddhist Temple, or the Japanese Cultural and Community Center(which is also where I go to Japanese school). I think my most impressionable matsuri moment, was at my first Obon Matsuri, because the only other experience I'd ever had, that was anything close to that, was when my girlfriend(at the time) took me to spend Dias de lose Muertos with her and her family, in Mexico, YEARS ago, and death has been one of the most prominent things in my life. It's a huge part of my religious and spiritual culture, but I had never been to anything in America before, that shows that kind of level of celebration for our passed on family and loved ones, in that way. Everything I'd always seen and experienced, taught me to mourn and grieve, not celebrate them. Of all the matsuri I go to during the year, Obon is the one I look the most forward to. 😊
Can definitely see Japan really trying out the whole night market thing here in Osaka too. It was very, very small, but they held a night market in Shinsekai for two weekends this year. I definitely think the push/increasing popularity is the byproduct of the whole tapioca/bubble tea craze.
