- Lena has been nominated at the Echo Awards 2012 in the category "best music video" with "Taken by a stranger". In this short twitter message she's asking us to vote even more, so that she can bring the trophy home.

@4000douriki :) I am not a citizen of Deutschland, but I am what I call a European- American. My ancesters were from France, Deutschland, Holland and England. . . . . .I was born in California and raised in California. I know a very small amount of Deutsch, or German as you say, because many years ago I lived near Stuttgart, and then Kaiserslautern. I am glad you are French. I spent a day in Bitche and it was beautiful. I will view Echo 2012 online since USA television will not have it.
Well I said that I was French but I don't consider myself like a French.Althought I speak French fluently and the fact that I was born in France I can't prevent me from think that I'm much more a German because I want to become one and I want to speak German (or Deutsch as you say^^) fluently.
I'm glad too that you are considering yourself as a European-American.In my opinion the place where our famillys were born doesn't matter what we want to be.I think everyone should be free to make a choice

A BIG thanks to DealyLama24 for this video! Lena is SO cute with her choice of words! I won't vote until my fingeers bleed :) but I will be glad to figure out how to vote, unless I am already too late. What is one to say, when some Deutsch words just DO NOT STAY IN MY HEAD?!! @whiteribbonman1 I hope that you have enjoy of this day in Bitche.It is near from the frontier of France and Germany.What a coincidence I would like to finish my studies in Strasbourg. The french TV will not broadcasted it.I hope that Lena will perform "Taken by a stranger" like last year and that will be upload on UA-cam.When you wrote that you will see Echo 2012 online do you mean watch it in live with your computer?

You can search the german website of Lena entitled "Lena Meyer-Landrut-Die offizielle Website" and go in the part "News/Termine" and you"ll see the news "Lena nominiert für den ECHO 2012".In the end of what is written on the right of this you'll see "Hier geht's zum voting "Bestes Video National"".You must click on it and then you'll be redirected directly the Lena's video.But you have to register yourself in myvideo.de

@4000douriki I had a WONDERFUL time in Bitche! The area, the people, the food, ALL wonderful! I had not been in France before that day and it was amazing! Yes, I will hope to watch Echo 2012 with my computer. American television programming, for me, is terrible.
