Meryl and Charlie are the best ice dancers ever!!! Thank God for You Tube. We're fortunate that we can go back and watch their wonderful skating.
I know they are not lovers off ice. But how could they not be???
Maybe the platonic love they have for each other since childhood is just too unique and special.
Singasong0725 plus, I think with ballroom dancing partners your meant to have that separation and like a no dating type thing. Because if you date your partnership can change drastically for better or worse.
Because all dancers (dancers on ice too) don't have to be fucking lovers, we should just behave professionally, ok? We can even hate partner but we just have to dance with him even if we don't want to. It's just sport, not a love story

hibo hussein Yeah, same thing here in Ireland. There's no tradition of ice skating at all here, only just the odd seasonal pop-up rink in a tent. :(

As much as i love Davis and White when they skate because lets face it, THEY ARE AMAZING,
i sometimes get the feeling that they are too dominant for each other...like they are skate against each other rather than together with each other... and because they are both so brilliant, it clashes... just my opinion people, pls don't hate :)

Beautiful. But I've actually seen them do an even better job (yes, it's possible) with the same song and routine at a Smuckers event. Truly a talented twosome. I've got tears in my eyes.

I've seen them skate better as well. Maybe they were holding back because they were afraid to ruin the outfits? It is Fashion on Ice after all and some of the fabrics used aren't normally "pair skating" friendly. Some fabric can cause friction burns on hands and can make holds and lifts difficult.

I love dancing and I started liking ice skating too but I'm 12 and I'm worried I'm not old enough for it and I'm scared to ask my mom if I can do ice skating
Gacha Wolf sure you can do it from like 4 years old on. It’s clear that if you start earlier you’re gonna get better earlier than others. But there is no age limit

Dear fans, i'm really sorry, but every time i watch them (i do it from time to time), i don't see anything special about them. It's simple. What's more, i don't feel anything to their ice dance like i haven't done to ice dance in general till i saw Virtue and Moir at the Olympic Games Sochi 2014.

Really? I feel the opposite. V/M seem so cold to me. I feel no connection between them. D/W on the other hand have a great connection. Not to mention, fabulous technique.

They are beautiful skaters but there is just no connection or chemistry between the two of them.
they have no connection... the guy... Charlie, he is really talented... but Meryl seems to be skating with no feelings... pretty moves... but no meaning... they could have used the same program but using "yo quiero un heroe" from shrek, instead of "someone like you"... that song is about a woman that does not want to forget her ex love... why does it seems like Meryl is dancing "blame it on the boogie"?
