"abolish the frontier between the unfinished and the finished" is such a good motto for creative works! Don't let perfectionism prevent you from creating anything. Love the tunes ✌️
This album is an absolute banger and those choices for 1st and last song were great, i especially liked the last song. The only criticism I would give is that on some of the tracks there's a lot going on with the tracks to the point where it's kinda of jarring to listen, especially with headphones (full circle killing was my list favorite), though that could be just a preference. I think your strength lies in the more relaxing songs where you let the drums and bass control the feel, like the in the last song, withered tree. Overall an 8/10 album, very enjoyable to just listen while doing other stuff. This gives me a jazzy, more upbeat lofi feel and I think you've tapped into a gold mine here.
6:47 You arrive late to the old cinema. It's a japanese film from the 1940's. The walls give some reverb and you start hearing the characters talking before you can see them. That dim yellowish-gray light from the screen comes through the corridor and help you climb the stairs, worn from decades.
Fantastic percussion amd drums!! I enjoyed the counterpoint, sometimes missed perhaps a backing (maybe steady bass kick on offbeat or vamps cushioning the space betweenvoices/lines) on the first track. But absolutely golden !!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Ima study the drums on this cause its a masterclass
@@MarianTaylor-zu4ho hey thanks so much! I agree, the first track is probably the least polished, I appreciate the suggestions -- I'll file those away for next time. Thanks again for the kind words!
the noroi stuff on the album cover caught my eye, and wow what an album! really great and unique tracks! i feel compelled to thank you for not using ai to generate your album art as well. i'm glad people are still putting forth effort into making great art and music. this rules

Great live drums to back the electronics. Thanks for posting something I might never hear otherwise.
Thanks so much! The drums are actually programmed too, but it's a huge complement that they sound live!
