Once you jump in you start getting in the flow of things naturally. Then just learn stuff on top of what you learn yourself. Don’t rely on UA-cam though to learn everything. You’re gonna have to sit down and just experiment.

yeah unfortunately the way i arrange drums isn't really suited for shorter videos bc i'm doing a lot of back and forth. but im definitely down with the idea of putting a less edited version on a secondary channel for the nitty gritty stuff, as i personally find it super valuable. as for autotune i either use antares autotune efx or slate metatune! both are great, i can't really i say i have a favorite between the two either. appreciate you commenting timothy!

Relik is a great teacher. You can learn a lot from watching his videos. But if you wanna get started, there are enough resources across UA-cam.

i would at least try to get an interface so you can use xlr but if you are limited on funds you can start with the classic usb at2020.
