I love Martin Gore so much but in some songs i misses Dave Gahan's voice.....like Insight or Only when i loose myself.......They are both incredible artists and people. Thankful for their music since i can think about it.

I think it was a big mistake to focus on Dave as lead singer. Martin's vocals are by far more emotional and deep. He makes very accurate accents. Dave also sings well, but he clowns too much, and this ruins the whole immersion.
Yes, afterall these are Martin's songs. He poured his heart and emotion creating them and dave just copies it. While Dave's voice is more commercial, a lot of emotion and vulnerability is lost which is present in Martin's voice
