No motors. Just a pneumatic cylinder with a solenoid that's controlled by an Arduino. It's all battery powered. The pneumatic cylinder attached to an axle that the target is mounted to. The axle also has a spring attached to it so that it always keeps the target down. When the pneumatic solenoid is powered on, it pneumatically lifts the target, when the solenoid turns off the spring lowers the target back down.

What is the bump sensor? And how did you get the sensor to ignore the movement of the target when it’s lifting up?
Piezo Sensor. After I sent the signal to lift the target I created a timer that had to end before allowing feedback from the sensor
