I tell u a secret instead of planting them try lying them down wrapped in sphagnum moss in a sealable container & they will strike .Ive had 10 success in only 3weeks!!!🙏🏽
Yes…I have tried that method with other hard wood cuttings that includes a dip in growth hormone for hard wood cuttings…I re-used a sealable, cleaned container from spinach or other grocery produce that produces the same rooting results within a month 👍
I got good success with air layering this year. Some took a bit longer than expected but it was worth the wait. I'm especially excited about two air layers from our big shin Deshojo in the garden!
I like the wire technique for those delicate cuttings in a new pot.

How did the air layers go? I had a couple of cuttings that have taken. but a few of my cuttings that had taken last year died this season.
