In this week’s video I attempt to pack minimally for 5 days worth of outfits. Packing only into my purse or cross body small bag. Which I think may be quite an extreme minimalist packing challenge.
See what essentials I decide to pack, as an extreme minimalist. Moreover, what I don’t pack, throughout this pack with me. I’ve always loved the idea of travelling as light as possible. In the same way I enjoy the result of living with as little as possible.

Great video and very realistic for traveling with UK budget airlines. I always laugh when I see US videos for "carry-on only" and they have a suitcase and then a handbag which is the same size as their suitcase!
😂 yes true. For me carry on definitely means something backpack sized or smaller 😂. My normal backpack is only 20 x 25 x40cm. This purse/ bag is even smaller. I reckon it’s around 25 x20 x 14cm. So half the usual economy carry on allowance for Europe with budget flights. But yeah what some people seem to class as a carry on would be a regular suitcase size to me 😂 🧳 💼 👜
Exactly! I'm traveling to the UK from America. Only bringing carry-on because I don't want to risk loosing my stuff. Everyone's "carry on"s are huge!
I’m American and laugh at that, too!
My only (under the seat) bag is the size of some women’s handbags.
I’m a woman, I bring skin care and hair care. I bring a second pair of shoes 99 percent of the time.

@truepeacenik - I think maybe we were referring to the fact that it seems to mainly be American UA-camrs that the algorithm favours for this type of content - so that’s mainly who we see doing the carry on packing videos 😊 not necessarily that all Americans overpack 😊 that would be Greatly generalised 😂 I am sure it’s a global thing 😂 but UA-cam shows us Americans 😂 🇺🇸 I love the states BTW - I think the people there have a much more positive attitude than the brits - the weather makes us miserable ( generally again of course 😂 🙄)

Very nice cross body bag! I'm searching for something like that not too bulky but large enough to fit my ipad and other stuff. Can I ask you brand/model name? The vegan leather seems sturdy and good quality, some years ago I had a vegan leather bag but lasted less than a years because the leather fallen out in small pieces
I’m not sure what this brand is called but I got it from TKMAXX. I think the perspective on this video may be abit misleading, with the bag being in the immediate foreground. As I think it would struggle to fit an iPad in, especially with the other stuff. I think the measurements are about 20 x14 x25, which sort of gets smaller when stretched in other directions don’t they. But maybe you’d be able to find one ever so slightly larger if you have a look. We’re limited for where we can shop in the town I live. There are only 3 clothing/ accessory shops. One of them being a tkmaxx. 😊 👜.

What about skincare and hair dryer
I don’t use a hair dryer and I only use oil on my skin but decided to go without for just 4 nights, as il be wearing my tinted moisturiser daily. I just wash my face with warm water at the end of the day.

fyi, Viewers can NOT hear the background noise that you hear... also, it would be nice to know what tiny size clothes you are packing into a tiny bag. I'm a Plus Size so probably only my meds would fit... tfs!
Oh 😂 glad to hear 👂 you can’t hear the background noise 😂 though usually I do try to reduce it in the editing phase. I know some people, depending if they are using headphones 🎧 sometimes can pick up the background noise so I usually just say it to cover all bases 😊. I usually pack dresses and shorts so they are actually smaller items anyway. However, yes you are probably right in terms of garment size that probably does really affect what you can pack in a tiny bag. Fyi, 😊 mine are very small size 0. So I have an unfair advantage there. But I’d definitely go with dresses and shorts if the climate allows for less clothing overall 😊

😂 it was honestly a joke 😂 and I thought I’d just include the footage to show all the waiting that goes on to try get quiet moments to film. Which is becoming ever more impossible. I definitely see my future being in a very secluded and remote cabin in the woods. With only noisy badgers 🦡 to deal with 😂. Peace is my most valued thing 🕊️.
@@SagelifeMinimalism I do live in a rural area. I can't speak for the noise a badger makes but I have a cockerel next door which is so loud from 3am that I sleep with earplugs. Life in nature isn't always peaceful and quiet!

Sorry but this looks impossible and you just made this up just for the content of saying 5 days packing. As for your clothes only it's already full pack using your small personal bag. Who knows what you're bringing in actual like other stuff as we cannot see you in person travelling. Just saying. But I love watching minimalist travel packing.
Well I absolutely did go away with this bag and I did do a video and Instagram stories that proved it. Just because you may not be able to travel like this does not mean others can’t. In fact there are a few minimalist travellers who travel with no bag and just take pants and toothbrush in their pockets 🩲 🪥
