- These fighters I use to Improve and time my counter attacks. The fights are from stupid easy to not really hard. I'm using Chazz with Martial Arts only (Ps2) enjoy!
Also all on hard difficulty, no recycle reruns, first to fall, or soft touch's and all match's with Def Jam vendetta soundtrack.

Press R1 and move the analog stick toward your opponent at the same time to counter.

you can also counter by pressing R1 away from your opponent. It's called strafing counter. If i'm not mistaken

How can i block them when they try to grab me? and when they grab and try to make something how do i reverse that aginst them?
when you they try to grab you press x or triangle, but if they manage to grab you, you cannot reverse the attack

Is this the hardest difficulty because when I had this game certain characters on very hard difficulty did nothing but counter. Crow Carmen Redman are some examples
Crow's AI is designed to adapt to whatever you're relying on at the time. At times this means he will sit there and do nothing but counter you so he can take advantage of the Martial Arts plus frame parry.
On hard he reads your inputs ALOT especially when he's in danger of losing. Redman in Hard in story mode is just all over the place.

Was using a Roxio Game Capture and used Pinnacle Studios HD for editing, haven't tryed this on Emulator tho.

These counter moves never and rarely work and they are so annoying in the game of how the computer abuses this move when you try to grapple they get way too fortunate everything, which is annoying as hell.

+XardBoy Doesn't matter what fighting style. Any can counter-block.
Styles can counter-block, but Martial Arts is the style that when you counter, you actually do a move.

I can do counter attack and reverse grapple is easy man. You must practice this game during story mode.

Martial Arts is a good fighting style for parrying (countering) punches and kicks. Another explanation is that he learned the timing for each counter.
how good is martial arts countering? cuz frankly, the styles I chose fucking sucks at countering. either the game is complete crap that it isn't reading my input or my timing is bad. either way, this game is fucking bull with the AI
Martial arts gives you a better opportunity to counter, it significantly increases the chance of actually countering. However, this doesn't mean that other styles can't counter, it's mostly timing based. Still, I have noticed that when I play with a fighter who has MA as a style I get better at countering.
Just try it out, choose Redman, Ice T or any other character with MA from the game (if you don't want to create a fighter) and check out if you improve your parrying. Otherwise just keep practicing, the timing is key here!
ya which sucks.... since the timing is mostly a split second....
This might be quite a bit late, but were you only pressing R1 when trying to parry? Because the correct way to parry is R1 + 'the direction of your opponent'. You should recognise it by the hand movements of your character. Hope this helps.

@@davidtapias1256 solo tiene artes marciales. No tiene kickboxing ya que no tiene el agarre especial y mucho menos Streetfighting. Solo lleva martials arts
