How difficult was it for you to build this deck to really summon Zushin?
This felt like a Yu-Gi-Oh episode. Trying to defeat the all powerful monster. Only failing cause we don't have plot armor.
He dose have one weakness thats not plot amor and thats against SHS.
Wait so I’m not following new things in yugioh in years but I googled the card, isn’t it destructable thru card effects or was the text I found missing that part?

It's apparent that they were also messing around to have fun so they stayed for the full 20 turns.
They saw the Zushin plays and stayed outta respecc knowing they would die in 20 turns anyway

Huh....it makes sense when seeing it, but it never occurred to me that re-drawing Zushin would reset the soft one per turn on its effect. And combining Zushin with Final Countdown? Very nice.
It's a new version of Zushin not the on anime.

You know Zushi is a boss monster because it has low attack stats and is willing to be in attack position.

Zushin: Unaffected by other cards' effects. If this card battles a monster, during damage calculation: ATK and DEF of this card become equal to the current ATK of the monster it is battling +1000, during that damage calculation only.
like crooked cook, only Kaiju removal....
@@clackman622 its kinda better than Crooked cook outside of his summon conditions. Crooked cook depends of a bunch of cards and conditions to be nearly Invincible, and you can still beat over it with atk position or with piercing battle damage against his low def to poke some damage into the opponent.
Zushin apparently can be destroyed by battle, but is own effs makes basically impossible to be beated by that no matter what you summon, he always is going to get more atk than your battling monsters.
What happens when you attack it with a monster equipped with moon mirror shield?

The trouble is that if five of the cards were NOT something that makes you draw cards, then this wouldn't have happened
So you used your entire deck to summon Zushin to serve as a wall for Final Countdown? That's pretty clever. Not my style but I respect you for being able to uses two of the hardest cards in the entire game in one duel.
I heard of a monster that can do exactly the same things but it can be used in almost every deck. A fricking masquerena avramax.
Final Countdown isn't nearly that hard. Floodgates are floodgates and they do what they do best.
@@scipto9392 Yeah, but anyone can use Avramax. Chads use Zushin. Also, Zushin is blanket unaffected by other card effects, while Avramax summoned with I:P Masquerena is only immune to destruction effects, so it can get spun by stuff like Knightmare Unicorn.

Final countdown really needs a animation for the win condition like the card artwork just that the fireballs fall down exploding

Of course a Blue Eyes player would get rid of all their resources just to summon Five God Dragon. It's funny how in 5Ds Zushin was a card everybody and their grandma had, but no one had ever managed to summon it. I always forget how Yusei actually beat Zushin.

@@247Lilboy Pretty sure he did, I just can't remember how since Zushin supposed to be immune to everything and always has 1000 more attack than whatever it battles.
Summary of the last turn according to the wiki.
This will be his final draw, and he draws "Earthquake Giant". He immediately sends his monster to attack "Zushin", and Taro says his monster won't beat their "Zushin". Yusei answers, "With my Shooting Star Dragon alone, that may be so. But with our Shooting Star Dragon, it's a different story!" He discards his "Earthquake Giant", and even as Jack and Crow realize what's up, he activates the effect of Jack's "Monster Baton", which carries the effect of Crow's "Blackwing - Boreas the Sharp". This newest monster effect protects Yusei and his monster from damage, and it then destroys the attack target. Taro responds that "Zushin" negates monster effects, but Yusei clarifies that "Zushin" only negates the effects of a monster it is currently battling - shocking Taro. Carried by the combo, the effect goes through and destroys "Zushin", leaving the crowd silent and shocked.

@@dustintroydeguzman5411 Plot armor and shenanigans was the story of Yusei's life after the Dark Signer arc. Like when he dueled the guy with the Bicorn and Tricorn monsters and got his deck milled out. The other guy could've just ended his turn and won, but he attacked Yusei for no reason and lost.

Yeah, after the Dark Signers arc, Yusei just became a massive Gary Stu and lost any interesting character development. (Jean ended up attacking Yusei after Yusei Talk no Jutsu'ed him.) Only Yusaku is worse than that though.

The show was really close to making how they out this card really cool. I enjoy seeing duels in the anime where there is this seemingly unbeatable monster but the protagonist ends up thinking of one of the most abstract ways that can legit out it. One example is Atem against Slifer when he forced Marrik to deck out rather than actually defeat Slifer head on. Another is where Yusei went against Team Ragnarok and was able to avoid three ways of losing all at the same time and win with Shooting Star Dragon.
In the anime when they batted Zushin however, their “out” to the card was just that he could be taken out by non-targeting destruction, which was just so disappointing. They had the perfect way to actually provide an abstract out to Zushin though because earlier, they summoned a low defense monster in defense mode and the opponent with Zushin said “you thought around Zushin’s effect because he can only increase his attack for how much attack your monster has.” It would’ve been incredibly cool to have that be the way they out “the Invincible Zushin.” Maybe have something along the lines of the Spike Chain trap that boosts defense incredible high and outpower Zushin’s attack that way.
Yusei beating Team Ragnarok was the stuff of legends. He beat the immortal Nordic Gods and turned the hopeless situation around by turning their own card effects against them. It was such a big brain move that it was brilliant.
It could even be a more simple way. if you can't beat a invincible monster like Zushin, They could had won by bringing the lvl 1 monster they used to summon Zushin back and win by battle damage through attacking it. Considering Yu-gi-oh anime loves to think "piercing damage" is the godsend effect, this could work well.
Would heavybot samurai (kinda forgot what they're called) work then? Since they can attack in defense position?

Someone summoned a Zushin against me in Master Duel, but they had already lost mir than 1000 LP before that and I summoned No.92 Heart-Earth Dragon. That poor Guy went through a lot to make it happen and then lost by technically beating himself…
Yep, when facing Zushin or Cook, the weakness is always the duelist themselves.
A Magicalized Duston Mop could've also helped Super Poly and Kaiju shenanigans. But never mind that, this is an awesome video!

Zushin is really hard to summon! The payoff isn't that bad! But unless you run good cards to get it out easily! You're better off not playing it!
Exactly on in that 1 5DS Episode not only did it take Team Taiyo 20 turns TO summon it they spend all those turns and STILL LOST that Tag Team Duel after Yusei Fudo found a way to beat Zushin.
Well just glad that Yusei deck isn't just about being full power. Though yeah, Yusei's deck was also allowing them to stall 20 turns to be able to summon such an impossible card to summon as Zushin. The outplay was nice.
@@apieceofblueglassmoon2288 well, the World Riding Grand Prix duel rules are basically a relay race; so it was a combined 20 turns over the course of back and forth between the 3 duelists on each team.
Still, it is still pretty damn impressive

@Lord Paul Philipp Fernandez Well, they have to change it otherwise even Plot Armor won't help Yusei. Even then it is still powerful as they have to stack multiple Plot Armor just so he can win, three of them IIRC. Making Anime Blackwing - Boreas the Sharp's effect to not be locked to just Blackwings and activatable in any phase. And two anime only traps one which copied anime Boreas the Sharp's effect so Zushin can't negate it and one that allowed Shooting Star to attack again IIRC.

Summoning Zushin is easily the most difficult thing one can do. This is only the 2nd time ive seen it happen.

i guess the way around that card is to tribute it but that isn't many cards that can do that. Kaijus and probably monarchs will hurt it.

What was the trap card you used to shuffle you entire deck back from the graveyard
Also how was it possible shuffling it back on the first place since you didn’t had a single card left undrawn I always fought that you can‘t shuffle back if there aren‘t any cards left
Only way I can see someone get around this is if your opponent has a burn deck. Assuming player doesn't have a defense for it.

Super Heavy Samurai cards attack in Defense Position so this card can't overwhelm them at all. It just copies ATK and goes +1000 , but what about monsters that can attack in Defense Position with a higher DEF stat ?
(Or maybe I'm missing the joke about Super Heavy Samurai being a slow deck , which I don't really know because I don't know the archetype)
