- John Patitucci - E-Bass
Adam Rogers - Gitarre
Steve Cardenas - Gitarre
Nate Smith - Schlagzeug

Nate, killin' it on the Schlagzeug!
Right... 😂🔥
John Patitucci ....mmmmm.... The "velvety tone" of his bass makes me happy . An amazing musician. Perfect sounds!
a true inspiration
I just wonder how these great musicians live nowadays when so little people listen to jazz
It's only a little compared to rock and pop. COVID lockdowns notwithstanding, rest assured these gentlemen are making a good living.
John and Nate are a match made in heaven
John and Nate, 2 of my favorite musicians
I am a bass player, and the drums stole my attention.....no small feat with a group this talented.
Me too, as a bass player playing with Nate would be such an honor! Sec, steady, always on the point, eine Präzisionsmachine!!! Jedes Schweitzeruhrwerk wird da neidisch!!!
Goodness nate smith. I like when a drummer gives his drums an actual voice. Not just how fast can I go and how abstract can I get.
theshipissinking no.. great point !
I think among a few other factors the man knows how to tune them drums real nice. Of course his personality comes through as well.
Nate Smith is a robot. Nobody can have that much pocket. Nobody.
Nate.... the groove master... genius...
John Patituccci is awesome as usual.
Talent and pure expressiveness with Latin Blood.
FABULOUS ...!!!
Greetings from Argentina. 🇦🇷
definitely the best bassist alive today...
Music heaven...
Definitely one of the best things I've ever watched! Excellent playing and killer bass tone!
Out of all these gigs on youtube that bass is the best for this type of music
Nate killed that kit , John is a Bassplayer’s. Bassists. Love it !😊
Great stuff! Gotta love Nate's drumming! :)
They gotta be the coolest uncles I've seen and heard.
Great band! John is on fire!

John is outstanding
Já ouvi esse som mil vezes e não me canso massa demais q pegada q grave aveludado desse baixo e esse batera putz
My sweet lord, what an amazing tone. Sounds like flatwounds to me
also high action and a pretty heavy attack
Great band!!!
Maestro, que lindo suena este tema!
Mind = Blown
Deep groove!
Muito bom som profissional

JOHN, as one of my favourite bassist. I am waiting forward to see your performance in Java Jazz Festival, Jakarta, Indonesia one day....
Siempre he admirado a John patitucci . Un máster en el bajo
😲 high level!
Wow....ups....ufffff.....yeeee bass sound...
Congrates John Patituci 🤟🔥
still loce it!!
What a f***in groove!
excellent
Johns tone and playing on this is outstanding. That Jazz, whatever brand it is sounds killer. Very sweet tone.
Todd McCracken it's a Yamaha
Yes, looks like a Yamaha headstock. Maybe a one-off instrument? Just guessing about that one. Never seen another like it.
John only plays Yammy. He's an endorsee.
Anthony I think it's a "bb - limited" which seem to be a custom model.
Holy freakin' bass tone Batman!
Feels like Tony Williams Lifetime, live again
Genial
cool
Nice to hear Pat on a Fender-style bass
just by listening to John's groove and stuff it makes me have some serious bass faces, like I was myself grooving like a pork XD
Dope!
Patitucci é o cara maguinífico bassmen mais o mérito desse som ai é do batera a evolução dele é costante e a linha de baixo é a mesma
mas essa é a graça uai
Baddest bassist on the planet
Holy shit! This is my favorite fucking thing! Awesome sound quality! Blastin' it through the big stereo! Fuck yeah!!!
OMFG
This is a very Scofield tune
is't the bass or the fingers? amazing tone!
Francis Rocco Patitucci ? Amazing bass tone
💿💿💿💿
Showww
5:33 Its so hot!! Nate and john
This reminds me heavily of "Watermelon Man" by Hancock, but "with the Headhunters" version.
Flats?
Sure!!
I LOVE THIS~!~~~~!!!! This is HOT!!!!
Que modelo es el bajo de 6 ?
One of the guitarrists is Adam Rogers. Who is the other one? Anyone knows?
Steve Cardenas
I always come back to this video hoping someone would name the guitar patitucci is holding in the thumbnail of the video, it's really beautiful. Can someone help me with the exact model name, I believe it to be a yamaha
It is a one-off custom made for him. They never produced that bass unfortunatly :(
@@mariusgustavus6522 unfortunately indeed!! I would have purchased one to accompany my TRB5II
Here for the Schlagzeug. Nate put the schlag in that ish.
lots of John Schofield color in this one. Wish the guitar players who did a great job would have used some jaw dropping technique but over all great playing.
yes indeed...I smiled when i read your post because i had the same feel when i listened this song... Anyway these guys are amazing... :). Peace...
Bireli Lagrene could the power to it.
John plays Yamaha electric basses.
@inthepocket Yep so do for very good reason as well. Can't find anything to replicate my Trb5II tone and feel.
J'm Bonn,James Bonn hihihi.
I don’t understand why. Guy on the right volume during solos always too low. 🤷🏻♂️
Groove much Nate?
nice music but the camera man is not there!
like the tasty stuff but damn.....burn a bit brother.... if you can but many have a weak right hand and or left
Faltou um Frank Gambale na guitarra.
3:28
So Scofield.
Man, how does he get that attack? A little bit of fingernail? Just the sound of the attack on a compressor?
A M A Z I N G meeting..
Hey guys ... can you play something like "Trap" or something more modern music?
Just kidding!...laughs!...
Excellent performance!... Keep in that way!...
trap is not modern, it's like music made by apes, literally, so primitive
@@javiermedina5313 I hope u enlighten yourself these past few years u troglodyte.
Hey - Al Bundy on bass ! Ilove it.
John s sound is so simple and basic.
kay kb ,agree to disagree!!Music is not a linear, its a circular imo...you get it?
I'm just guessing that John doesn't need any music lessons from the internet.
Linha de bx
I see Nate Smith is so popular with people. I don’t get it all, not to be insulting because I appreciate his obvious wizard level of ability but can someone please tell me some projects where he does some other kind of drumming? Anything I’ve seen him doing is nearly the exact same beat with varying tempos and I’m annoyed because I know how good he is but avoid watching vids with him in them because I’m utterly sick of here the one groove he does so well.
Confusing but ultimately know, I just want to learn more about his other groups/styles of drumming.
Nate f*cking Smith.
frankly, without Nate it would have been quite contingent...personal oppinion.
Andreas Jourdan he definitely brings something magical to the mix, that is the truth.
great sound.
But the camera guy must be fired...
That other guitar is lost in the mix.
Not if you are listening in stereo...the guitars are panned almost extreme left and right
Very good stereo separation of guitars. Maybe use cans.
Check your speakers or your headphone because am hearing both guitar clearly
i hear them both too, and i'd say he's "lost" in the sense that his timing and intonation are a bit off.
One of your speakers isn't working.
As much as there's a lot to ponder when watching these musicians kill it, it really doesn't justify the complete lack of headbobbing, grooving, or fun-having, that's going on in this room. WTF people; its music, have fun.
Nate Smith and Patitucci fit so well and feel brave on this. The two guitarists sound lifeless and stiff in comparison.
That drum kit smoked a cigarette after this.
Amazing playing. Horrible camera work.
All guitar players try to be John Scofield
they could do worse...
,
Maestro, que lindo suena este tema!
Maestro!!!!!
Holy freakin' bass tone Batman!
