  • Searching with metal detectors for relics from the second World War in Norway! Relics left behind by German forces during battle or discarded off after the war. Maybe we will even find Hitler's lost gold..
We went high up the Norwegian mountains to search for an abandoned Fallschirmjäger (Elite German Paratrooper) outpost and we found it!
We had some great finds but the cherry on top was a very special ring my Norwegian friend 'Viking Jan' found. Something I have never seen found before!
Jan is trying to set up a UA-cam channel, please do me a favor and go subscribe to his channel.
    / suohtas
If you are interested in behind the scene footage, just want to follow me around or even be able to win some WW2 relics?
Check out the social media pages and my Patron website. You can find them here:

    FAQ:
-Do you report your finds to the authorities?
Yes, all nasty things found like UXO's and finds that could be important from an archaeology perspective are reported to the local authorities. All other finds we can take with us (if the landowner is okay with it).
    -Do you sell finds?
I am a collector myself so I hardly sell relics. But if I do then I'll post it on the social media pages or maybe you should consider becoming a Patron, because I'll share finds with my Patrons (check out the Patreon website for details).
-How do you gain permission for metal detecting?
Check out local laws regarding metal detecting and get permission from the landowner. Or hook up with a local metal detecting club in the area you would like to detect and get your information from them. (I stopped responding to questions like this all together, I'm not google..)
    -Can I come with you?
    No.
    -Will you marry me?
    No, lets just be friends.
    -I want to see more!
Go check out the social media pages, or consider becoming a Patron! Patrons have access to much more, special videos, behind the scenes footage and WW2 goodie boxes containing relics me and my friends found over the years.
-What metal detector do you use?
The Garrett Ace Apex with a bigger coil and the Garrett AT Max.
    -Camera?
Go Pro 7 and a Sony handy cam
    -Favorite find?
Deep Digger Dan's UA-cam channel. GET IN!
-What is on your bucket list?
Hitler's lost gold or the missing gold train everybody is searching for. But until then I am happy with whatever pops up, I even enjoy finding landmines... :-s

As a former US paratrooper, I have always admired the WW2 German Fallschrimjagers. The “Green Devils” were an elite organization and very well trained in their duties. This was an exciting video to watch. Thank you for sharing with us Mike.

That Bilstein item was a hydraulic jack. The company is still making automotive jacks today. The screw portion was for setting the height.
Heading south to Florida soon and hope to get some beach detecting in myself. Thanks for the video 👍

The radiator is worth alot of money to a military vehicle restorer! For one thing its its made out of brass, and the cooling can be replaced. So difficult to hold of these days. I hope you guys took it with you ! It's in good condition for its age, you would make somebody very happy !

While I'm grateful that we really didn't see any fighting during the 2 World Wars (or really any wars, with the 2 obvious exceptions, and some small battles down south), I envy you being able to go somewhere that is within driving distance and finding such amazing artifacts.
