I am a fairly "New" Christian and liked the explanation of the Trinity. I am an older lady and my Testimony (a long story) would explain why it took so long. When I came to Christ I was listening to a podcast crying my eyes out and asked Jesus to come into my life and that's when I felt the Holy Spirit come into my chest. I felt at peace. It took me awhile at listening to Christian podcasters to realize it was the Holy Spirit. Now that doesn't mean I don't have bad days because my Sorrows haven't changed but I have Christ Jesus on my side and that makes a difference. I'm glad you went off topic.🙏📖💜

Why do I only listen to unashamed…. It’s funny, real, inspires me to think and struggle with the Word, is on often each week, and Phil always makes it simplistically clear what the gospel is no matter the subject of the episode. Too many Christian podcasts are goofy or too political or led by people not close to my age or too much about self help than the gospel or far off in beliefs. Thank you for being part of my weekly routine to keep me in the Word and focused on Jesus!

I watch two podcasts, Unashamed and Duck Call Room. While they're completely different, both are squarely rooted in Jesus.
I haven't seen every episode of the Duck Call Room, but I remember distinctly seeing the Unashamed Podcast for the first time at episode 17. The only reason I watched it was because of the Duck Dynasty show, which I liked. Then I went back to episode one and watched every one to catch up. I've watched every one since. I was not a believer at the time I started watching. I grew up in the church, and never heard the gospel in a meaningful way. At the time it was just a bunch of ancient history preached by a man with a name that started with doctor. He was a brilliant man and historian, but I wasn't receiving anything that made a connection for me. I just went through the motions every week. That's where my parents went so us kids just had to go along.
After the first few episodes of Unashamed I got increasingly interested in the message. There were connections being made in a way that was meaningful on a personal level I could relate to, and now I believe in Jesus. The more I hear the word, the more I want to hear. It's like a hunger in me. I'm 65 now, sure glad I have Jesus. I also have peace of mind.

John wrote Revelation. Gods most eloquent writer. God entrusted John with the book of revelation. As a Catholic we have always been taught about the trinity. The celebration of the most holy Eucharist. To celebrate the last supper with Jesus every mass is profound. Yes, it will bring you to tears snd drop you to your knees. Jesus. Body, blood, divinity....
So many are seeking God. The Trinity is God the Father first, The Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ, his son. Man, the Holy Spirit is with me. Sin against the spirit, see how you feel. So many are running to God. Our prayers are working.... Gods peace be with you. Jesus came to his Apostles and blessed them with the Holy Spirit. Even telling them to go and forgive sins. Thank you for supporting the unborn. Marriage in the Catholic Church is a sacrimental union. You become one in Gods eyes. God sees us in our marriage even when we love one another. Sacrimental marriage is a blessing.
DOCTRINE & COVENANTS 130:22-23 The Father has a body of flesh and bones as tangible as man’s; the Son also; but the Holy Ghost has not a body of flesh and bones, but is a personage of Spirit. Were it not so, the Holy Ghost could not dwell in us.

The Holy Spirit is all wisdom; the Holy Spirit leads us to the son and you can’t get to the Father without the son and you can’t get to the son without the Holy Spirit..
I'm Patricia but I'm a daughter a mother and a wife they are different roles but all are me.
The trinity is one God in three persons. Not one God with three roles. You being a mom , wife etc is not the same .
Man fellas if y'all could figure out a way to get into the Trinity it could be a huge podcast or a confusing podcast idk My background is in the Church of Christ so similar to your's. Seems like I've asked a hundred times and gotten a hundred different explanations for really well versed men. My simple explanation is if you have an apple and cut in three parts it's still the same apple. I had a friend that studies daily and he totally disagreed but didn't have really a better explanation. Not one that I understood anyway. Am I totally off base on my apple explanation? I'd really like to be able to give a simple explanation if it comes up. It rarely does but from listening to this podcast I'm not completely confused, but I'm not completely confident in being to give a simple explanation. Thanks
The apple is odd insomuch as you cut it it’s separate. The trinity is one God in three distinct persons all coequal all coeternal.

I do get it but it's like when scripture says Father Son Holy Spirit "The Godhead" to me it speaks to three parts. The same in every way, it does not separate them, but speaks about different roles in a way, I think. LoL

If you notice the baptism in the name of the father, the son in the Holy Spirit, these are titles. Your birth certificate says father, and there’s a name it says mother and there’s a name. Father and mother are titles. So what I’m trying to say is acts 2:38 baptism in Jesus name is the name. There’s no gift of the Holy Spirit in Matthew . There is a gift of the Holy Spirit acts free gift. Jesus was telling them to baptize in the name of the father of the son of the Holy Spirit, because he hadn’t sacrificed himself yet keep in mind, Jesus said if this cup were to pass for me, his human nature didn’t know if he would go through with this, his godly nature did. Somebody needs to tell Jase that just because JASE is unfamiliar with a word that Zach uses, does not mean other people don't use the word. His education is not superior, I think it's condescending for him to act like Zach's contribution is not valid just because it's NEW TO HIM. I want to hear what Zach is saying, not always being interrupted & mocked by Jase. Please let Zach finish a thought so we can understand Zach's points. Please.

Zach is confusing . Phil and Jase had it right. I love you guys but the scripture is by the God. God is the word . The word is God!
You know I love you guys like I really do so I'm going to tell you this. At the moment I'm voice texting because I'm driving. So yes, God the holy Spirit in Jesus Christ or three separate beings because they have a purpose in all. They are one person. Christ is the express image of God, meaning God came as man to be a sacrifice. The holy spirit is God because God is a spirit. I think we need to remember because of who God is. God can do whatever he want. If God wants to separate himself into three separate persons, I guess you could say he can do that and still all be one. But the point is it's not so much Eddie separated himself into three separate persons. I think that people don't understand that when it says the baptize in the name of the Father, the son and the holy Ghost. If you read through Acts I want to say yeah, when you read starting in Acts it actually the disciples baptize people in the name of Jesus, even Paul or whoever it was it says repeat and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins. They never said to repent and be baptized in the name of the fallen, the holy Ghost. So I think you you need to look at it from the perspective that the son the following all of those God himself. It's just that God imported his Spirit into a human form to be a sacrifice and then when Christ left after God humbled himself to be manned and become a sacrifice, he left his Spirit which is like the version of God that we can handle because even God himself said he was to reveal himself in full spirit before us, we would not be able to handle who God is before us. So like you know, y'all are y'all respectfully or wrong in the fact to say todd the ideal that they're all the same person on his face because that's not true because when the people ask Christ who God was, he said he was God and they tried to call him for blast for me because he said he was God. So I think the understanding needs to be that God is the spirit. Christ is the human form that God took for it to be a sacrifice in the holy Spirit book came through the sacrifice of God's flesh. That's why on the cross when Jesus said my God my God. Why are you forsaking me the spirit of God left the body of Christ because Christ became seeing when he took our sins. So the thing that has to be understood is that God, the Father, the son, and the holy spirit is one being. He talks about himself in three separate beings, but they're not literally three separate beings where no different as people. I know the egg in the world and all that stuff is dumb but let's look at it as us. We are a body, a spirit and a soul. We are three separate things and we're all in one. Our spirit is what connects with God through the sacrifice of Jesus. Our soul is what leaves our body when we die and it carries our spirit to go be with God. So we are made of three separate beings you can say but we're all in one body. The Bible says that we were made in the image of God, but it also says that the word was with God and if Christ is the word and the word was with God, that means that that form of God. When it said we was made in the image of God, that means we was made in the form that Christ was already Christ was already fashioned in the form that we was made. So not only what we made in the spirit of God, when it says we was made in the image of God, we was made in his Spirit. But we was also made in Christ to look, walk and talk like Christ did. That may be a little confusing, but the point that I'm making is we're made up of the same parts of God. It's just we're not sinless all powerful beings but we was made. After that we was made in his image. So to say that that three separate persons is not true. They are three separate things that are used for us to understand the death, burial and Resurrection. There are three separate beings that are used to understand the stages of coming to Christ because if you think about it, the Bible says the word was with God. But yet there was a fourth standing in the furnace with me. That obviously shows that when the king said, oh, he really is truly. This is God or the son of God. I forgot what he said. I can't remember exactly what was said that shows you right there that Christ was already in human form, but he came in the Old testament multiple times in his human form. He just hadn't came to be a sacrifice yet because there's another time a couple times. I can't remember exactly where it showed. There was another form and it was like. Oh truly, this is the son of man or whatever so I think that I know that y'all are wrong on this way. They are the same because again go back to acts and read it after he commanded him to go forth the baptized. The disciples said repeat to be baptized in the name of Jesus. They didn't say repent and be baptized and the holy Ghost. So they understood who the father, son and the holy Ghost was because multiple times it asked they was baptizing in the name of Jesus Christ. So y'all might want to look a little deeper into that. But I'm just saying it's just out of respect. I'm not trying to be mean or anything man. I really do love y'all guys because of your faith and what you do. But yeah I just needed to say that.

God the Father, and the Son. The Holy Spirit is of them. In otherwords Their power and essence. The Spirit is not God and NT scripture proves it.
Where does scripture support this?
Yahushua (Jesus) is the word made flesh. Scripture (old testament) is now written on our hearts and minds. So we can now obey the Fathers Words and Way. Yahushua didnt come to abolish the Law but to fulfill. He is the end game so they can now be written in us and we cannot be far from them any more. We are to be doers of the Word not herers only.Faith( believing the Fathers Word) without works is dead. Yahushua told his disciples to not do as the Pharisees did, which did not do the Law, but to do what they tell you because they sit in Moses seat......
If we love Him we will obey His Commandments and they are not burdensome.....
Moses stated that these Commandments are not too hard for you to do.....
Sin is breaking His Commandments. Yahushua said to many, go and sin no more.....
Yahushua said I dont speak my own words but those that are from the Father.....
Scripture states that the Father's Words/Laws are eternal. They will be forever. Thats why in Isaiah 2:1-5 the Fathers Law will go forth from Zion so that men will be taught His ways. This is future!.......
Also scripture states that in Isaiah 66 the nations will come from new moon to new moon and from Sabbath to Sabbath to worship Him. This is future! His Law is eternal. It stands forever!
The Law wasnt nailed to the cross, the ordinances were nailed to the cross. That stood in the way of us Yahushua dying for the sins of the world, and us coming Him.....
We are will be judged for our works, whether they are righteous (according to the Law, the Spirit) or unrighteous ( a sinner, not living according to His standardss). This is even as a believer. So as we walk out our salvation we are to run the race to win the prize..
