The blooper has a subtle Splatoon reference. Squids are popular with kids these days.

I still think Ulrira should’ve had the Boo and Shyguy figurines...
And the fishing shack coded to allow Link inside to place the blooper and cheepcheep ones. (I mean, sure you get the fishing hook from they guy’s wife? But she’s never inside! And all the other figurines more or less correlated with the villagers’ interests.)

I love all the Mario enemy cameos. They’re pretty cool.
Love when there are Easter eggs in games. Finding them is always a really nice surprise.
I love that Totaka's Song made it into the remake! It's amazing that people are still finding it hidden in older games even to this day, like the second instance of it found in Pikmin 2 after 15 years.
And the original game had 26 secret seashells
So many cute little details carried over from the original. Also love all those hidden tunes at the name entry.

I knew about most of these easter eggs. I did not know about the last easter egg though. I never noticed that the final nightmare had various mario villains.
I'll have to check that out again

A Easter eggs ive found that not very many people know is if you go to a room with the bunny monsters and use the ocaraina every bunny monster in the room will die lile in the first zelda game on the Japan version in that version you could make a noise on the controller and all the bunny monsters in the room would die.

One of my favourite games growing up, just started my second play through of the remake, would be so cool if they added some other secrets, would be cool to get chain chomp back or some way to keep the boomerang without trading something for it

The totakeke song is originally from Mario paint on snes after you click on the bomb icon to erase your drawing. The regular music would stop and that would play.
Did you know, that a certain enemy in a dungeon (I don’t remember the name) there’s a familiar pinkish enemy that can drain things... similar to Kirby!
