Love the video as usual! Lighter presentation produces bigger fish in the mangroves. Jig heads or just no weight at all when you’re using live shrimp! That big weight hitting will spook a redfish or snook everytime!

Hey that shark that looks like a hammerhead was called a Bonnethead shark, they don't get very big and are awesome to catch and release they look so cool.
Definitely need to try throwing some artificial lures around the mangroves. Using chum and anchoring down is good but youre missing out on alot of snook and tarpon down there. If you troll around and throw lures next to the mangroves like paddletails you will slay some tarpon and snook

Another awesome video!! I put my dry fish coating in a gallon size zip loc bag. Throw the fillets in the bag shake em up and when all done you can use the bag as a garbage bag to pack out your trash. I always keep a box of them handy. All the best to you and “Me Ancient”

Great videos Ace. Try cooking those snapper whole. Remove the scales with a fork and remove the gills and organs. Some salt garlic powder and lime and fri them up. But the fillets look great.

The fish at 13:55 is not a hammerhead, it's a bonnethead shark. You can keep it, they eat shrimp all day and make great sharkfish sandwiches. Hook and line gear only. No minimum size limit. 1 shark per harvester or 2 sharks per vessel, whichever is less. Must be Landed in Whole Condition - A person harvesting a shark shall land each shark in whole condition.
BTW the parasite its Important that u gotta look if the fish still has its " tongue" bec it depends how long this Prasite is a part of him so if it was early or like only a short time GJ if it was with him for a long time... then the fish would die without it at some point the Parasite acts like the fishes tongue so it forces the fish to live with it
