Mount Rushmore is in the black hills and it’s a beautiful place, when I visited there was Mount Rushmore, there is another mountain called crazy horse, we did a tour of where they shot dances with wolves, you have bear world USA, needle eye tunnel, and they have the Sturgis motorcycle rally the biggest motorcycle gathering in the USA.
Motel 6 they’ll leave the light on for ya
The red light
You should come out to Austin. Great food, live music and huge standup comedy scene here.
some of these are just straight up resorts. Not really fair to compare resorts to hotels
I've stayed in small hotels that have libraries. And most cruise ships have them as well.
My husband was a marathon runner (before an accident that shattered his ankle, ending his running days) and he did almost 60 marathons. If he was going someplace interesting, or if other wives were going, I'd travel with him. We got to stay in everything from very posh hotels to really crappy motels. That in itself was fun. The nicest place I've ever stayed in was at the Radisson in downtown Atlanta. It was the anchor point of Union Station, and the hotel restaurant's balconies overlooked the terminal. The restaurant was one where the waiters placed one's napkin in one's lap. The place settings were crystal, fine china and sterling silverware. That was a work trip. Just me and a co-worker. Worst part was, we had no time to do anything much. We did get together with good friends of mine who took us to dinner at the Melting Pot, which I'd never been to before.
Be aware of what time of year you go to any of these places. Arizona runs around 110° F or 43!°C in the summer. Montana resort it's basically a very nice hotel room with tent instead of walls. FYI I live on the Texas coast and my brother lives in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale remains hurricane season starts from June 1 thru Nov. 31
I’ve been to the Wailea, it’s lovely!
Your Aunts got some pretty bad advice if they chose Buffalo as a tourist destination in America haha I assume they're going to see Niagara falls, but they should have went to Toronto instead and it's only a 2hr drive.
The Canadian side of the falls is much nicer.
it's the same garbage on both sides, Niagara is a bit overrated imo.
@@kevinprzy4539 The view is much nicer on the Canadian side, I've been to both. And at the end of the day you can go to Toronto which is way more fun than Buffalo.
@@willvr4 I've been to both sides as well, I still consider the whole attraction of Niagara as overrated and kind of a letdown and yeah Toronto is definitely a lot more fun than Buffalo if you're into the whole stereotypical loud big city stuff.
I believe they were going to see buffalo/bison in the West, not Buffalo, NY!😂😂😂
@@pacmanc8103 No. They literally said "it's so far away and they're flying there."
You should definitely go to Utah guys! You won't be disappointed!!!
Hey guys!!.... The two best places in the United States hands down are California and Hawaii.
There's a reason why these two destinations have the most visitors.
Both States also have the most amazing weather with California having Mediterranean climate which is only found in 1% of the Earth's geography and Hawaii being subtropical.
There's a reason why 40 million people live in California and there's a reason why Hawaii is called The Jewel of the Pacific.
Forget about the humidity of the Northeast forget about the humidity and mosquitoes in the South... forget about the tornadoes and Sub-Zero temperatures in the Midwest and northern states.
I think it's time your family spends a month visiting California and 10 days in Hawaii.
Would love to see your videos and comments of those places.
And by the way California isn't just a state it's a planet!
You'll find every type of topography and geography and climate including the world's hottest place which is death valley.
Go to lake Tahoe and Napa valley and Mount Shasta in the North. Gorgeous! Drive over to the Northern California coast and visit crescent City.
Go to San Simeon / Hearst Castle and San Luis Obispo on the Central Coast . Don't forget about Carmel and Monterey... Will they have the best aquarium in the world the Monterey Bay aquarium.
And of course there are tons of places to visit from Santa Barbara to San Diego.
Cheers mates.. lol
Agree 100%
Absolutely agree.
Aiden a 10 minute boat ride from the one of the biggest party strips and he doesn't want to go! Lol
You should definitely come to Austin Texas!
I stayed at a 5 star resort in Carmel, California, and it was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel for one single reason. Bugs. The rooms are essentially wood cabins that were built into the mountain side, so there's nothing preventing them from being infested by all sorts of bugs.
I swear in our room alone you could find one of each type of insect and arachnid that's native to North America. Ants, spiders, earwigs, beatles, etc. They were everywhere. Might not be a big deal if you don't mind bugs, but I do. I straight up didn't sleep on night because I was paranoid spiders and shit were going to be all over me as I slept, lmao
Glamping in America is not really camping. It is way more comfortable and upscale than a tent on the ground. I don’t camp because I don’t want to rough it either but I will glamp anywhere 🎉😊
Coming back over in September? Assuming a NFL, MLS, and maybe a baseball games? I'd recommend either a northern trip (Buffalo, Cleveland (my town), Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago trip. Or a Midwest (Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Cleveland. Got all the sports, no tourists and top class restaurants.
An interesting choice to exclude cities like NY, Vegas....
You've never been to Vegas then because the rooms are shit
Everyone saying no Vegas has obviously never been to Vegas. I've started at motel 6s that were nicer than some of the suites
Surprized they didn't mention Las Vegas, Atlanta, Chicago, or New York. Hell even San Diego.
Mount Rushmore is near rapid city south dakota
It's also near a lot of oil in the Bakken Shale formation.
I wouldn't dare to tell somebody I don't know well where to visit unless I knew what type of trip they wanted and what interests them. Otherwise it's a lot of assumptions as to what someone will enjoy. But if you give me a list of things and or what you want from the trip I'll tell you.
I've visited 48 states pretty over the years and repeatedly to many.
Tom Segura has a bit that similar to that when random people come up to him. "Hey, you travel a lot, where should I eat?"
"Uhmmmm...there's this really good Dim Sum place nearby."
"Oh, but I hate the Asian race..."
"Damn dude, I don't know you."
So they put The Bellagio in the thumbnail but it's not one of the top 10? Clickbait
It's literally the thumbnail of the video they reacted to
Chill out
The Bellagio is nice. It and the Venetian. We had dinner once in the Paris. Shit show.
@@8mycake244 The Luxor is the coolest looking Hotel in Vegas by far, but it's also one of the worst. The cool factor of the pyramid shape is gone once you get inside.
Complaining on this video is definitely going to change that.
If you are coming to the US to enjoy the US, get a 2 or 3-star hotel room and don't spend a lot of time there other than sleeping. Get out and about. These hotels all seem like places for newlyweds or other couples basically interested in "shacking up" to spend a week or so. And be aware that there will be "resort fees" and endlless other fees to use the facilities. For the basic room rate you get a bed (mattress extra) and, if you are lucky, hot water in the shower.
Idk about that. 2 stars can go just Airbnb at that point
@@darienford860 I think you are missing my point which is to get the cheapest accommodation that's clean, decent, reasonably comfortable and located, and sans bedbugs or roaches. If that's Airbnb, that would be fine although I'm personally old fashioned and a little leery of dealing with private "hosts".
@@BTinSF Or just get the nicest thing you can reasonably afford? Daz isn't exactly strapped for cash.
If you can afford to stay in a nice hotel, why not ?
i don't know best hotel of what but there are many much nicer hotel in usa coparing to these hotels in video, especially in new york, los angeles area such as: Aman new york, beverly hotel, bacara hotel, also some very nice hotel in Napa valley in California, they're all beautiful and super expensive
Daz…some people like to read to relax…why are you making fun of the library…?😱
Never been in a library??
Why go on vacation and spend all your time in a hotel. go out and explore, spend maybe 9 hours at night to sleep, all you need is a cot and a pot.
No Vegas hotels is crazy
Vegas hotel rooms are plain and average. Overpriced. The Motel 6 there is your best bet because you're not spending time in the room.
You haven't been to enough Vegas hotels then
@@darienford860 Are there any Vegas hotels where people not staying there cannot use the facilities? You can certainly use the casino, the restaurants, the shopping, probably the spa. In fact, I recently watched a video that recommended spending a day at the spa in a 5-star hotel as the least expensive way to take advantage of the facilities while avoiding the ridiculous room rate.
Untrue for many of the hotels in Las Vegas - far from plain and average. Many people don’t go to Lax Vegas to stare at slot machines - they go to shows, dinners, etc. I’ve been there numerous times and don’t gamble.
List sucks. I rather goto circus circus in vegas than any of these.
Guys would you please react to Men on Vacation from in living color.
It's hysterical and you will love it and appreciate it because they discuss European vacations
