Nice job as always! I watch every video. It would be interesting to know how much time you save using the processor compared to only using the splitter and chainsaw. Maybe an idea for two epiodes? Two equal piles of logs. How much faster is the processor really, when EVERY working step is taken into account…
I know exactly how much more from a couple years of doing it ...minimum of 3 times as much but sometimes 4-5 times as much with the right size wood...big wood. And a lot less effort.
Nice job knocking it out. Save some for company. Bert, I feel your pain. Looks much better. It will be tender for a bit. Gavin is all set and ready to poke some buttons.
Dana aka Daddy here. I deleted my “TowMe Trailers” channel so I’ll be using Millie’s S’more Firewood channel to comment. Twas a nice little run of the processor. My legs fell asleep, so now it’s time to do some paperwork and then get out in the yard
The hickory I am cutting here now are 24" to 48" across. The hickory that you have would be small limbs on these trees. I am having to noodle them to get them on the splitter because we do not have a log lift or tractor. Glad Bert's finger is getting better. Bert has a fine looking son, learning important lessons.

Funny thing I saw an outside portable hot tub, where cold water runs in to stainless tubing like in a distillery but in copper, and the fire inside the tubing warms the water making it rise back to the hot tub with warm water usually keeping 40 Celsius on a cold winters day.😊 Thought it was cool.😊 Maybe Tony can get one to try this Winter😊
hello chris i´m watching you from sweden. I see you are a hard working dedicated man using an awsome mashine but a boxwedge on that thing would be awsome I think. have a nice day.
Chris or Bert need 8 , 10 , 12 , 14 , 16 , 18 , 20 way wedge . Save on operator time and diesel. A 180,000 US machine operator got to be moved a lot out off operator seat don’t see right as an operator. The wood cats loose there outside playing area . Hope Andrew see his 22MB in operation working might send down more cutting wedge for you to try out on the channel Chris . Take care SAW in the wood , STICK on the ice and RUBBER on the road . 🤓 1:08
Great to see the processor at work. Couple of questions. You had made a point a while back that you wouldn’t run small logs on the processor. But it looked like you were doing some small stuff today. Has your mind changed on this or did you not have time/room to do all the sorting out. Also, have you considered doing a line run product ( no resplits)off the processor to be sold as boiler wood? It would be used for ash or wood other than high value oak and hickory. You may not have demand for that in your area but it’s a thought.
@jeff carinda thanks, I watch so much to learn and I am baffled to why the time spent over paying 100k to save time still costs time. I truly will never waste that time or dollars. Watch me pull a Dremel out my hat!😊 Glad you have the power pack to use the Dremel, saves an extension cord any day,😉 You need to ask for the John West logs, I can see lots of respites or do you have the 8 way splitter insert rather than a 4 way Chris? You need a 6-way or 8 or 12 way wedge on that 22MB so you do not have to do so much "resplitting"???? Looks like it would save a lot of time??? (just an opinion)
Makes a pile of splits fast. Good idea splitting out of the trailer. I think you could still amputate Burt's finger. Might have to put a lump on his head first.
Nice video/work guys. Sorting the logs by diameter onto the deck seemed to help a little. Others have mentioned a higher multiple wedge and maybe that would help, but I know you are so fussy about the size of the finished product. Re-splitting off the back of the trailer right into the bin makes sense to me. Bert's finger has to be tender/painful. GNI

Based on what I saw here, I'd say roughly 40% resplits. It would be nice to not have to resplit, but the hard work is done, now you can fine tune your firewood for your customers. The goal is to end up with a very specific sized product to please customers.
