- After watching Rextroy's latest video, Asmongold decides to test the game-breaking synergy between the Death Knight Heartstop Aura and Necrotic Aura, which can stack indefinitely due to a bug. Prepare yourself for some of the most hilarious one shotting in World PvP and BG, Asmongold is even able to hit the damage number cap of 536,870,917 with his 30 dks raid group, surpassing the billion DPS throughput. lol I love how a game with intended 40v40 PVP can't handle 80 people fighting at once. But I guess it's just Alpha, hopefully this will be fixed by the time the have the Beta ready

@@einfachtoll It's way waaaaay better in classic than it is in retail though. 40vs40 is 'ok' in classic. In bfa it's 100% unplayable
As Preach stated in one of his videos, it is most likely due to the absurd amount of damages and buffs sources (so many procs in this expansion) the game needs To calculate everytime someone casts a spell.
You hit a spell, now it will calculate its damage, and everything that has a chance of proc (Azerite, trinket, essences, corruption, spec procs, etc) will need a calcul too. Now imagine it for each and every source of damage you have (direct hits, dots, proc damage). Now multiply it by how many players you want.
The servers will overcharge.
Blizzard created this problem by implementing procs on top of procs on top of procs. Hopefully with Azerite, corruption and essences gone next expansion, the charge will be lower for the servers.
Did you guys know that the maximum amount of damage asmonbald did (536 870 911) is the same as 2^29-1.

Rextroy is doing more work finding these bugs than Blizzard's entire QA department (If they have one that is)
They don't have that department. We're literally bug testing everything for them and fillikg up the reports. All they have to do then isbjust fix it. I'm pretty sure this bug had been know for quite a while, they just didn't bother to fix it cuz who the hell can assemble a team of 40DKs and when the Multiplied buffs become retarded is way out of reach inside arena and rated BGs. Well, you can run 9DKs and a healer, but not sure if that'll win you a game above 2k rating.

There was a bug that is a sub bug of a legendary effect from legion, in Nighthold when you fight Mythic Gul'dan there's the night orbs and when you charge chem in the last phase and run into the time capsule that saves you from their explosion and vanush right before entering the capsule you could bug out the legendary shoulders for rogues and make their effect permanent until death, but the downside is that your Vanish would be on a Month cooldow. Fun times, good thing PvP instances reset your cooldowns upon entering them, otherwise I'd have had to be behcned for a month LulW.

TFW I thought blasting that target dummy in a few seconds on my Mage was good before Asmon hit it with a 59mil TD and instantly killed it instead.

Would have loved to see a glacial spike to see how much damage that would have done, cause that on it's own can hit for 1.5m if everything aligns
@@Randalfire I got a 5.3mil Glacial Spike with very, very few procs/external buffs active shortly after doing that ridiculous Fire stuff, but it wasn't shown in this video.
I probably could've easily exceeded 10mil with good procs.

Big tip for programmers: giving your program calculations to do based on percentages rather than static numbers causes lag. This increases geometrically with more players so that's why it lags and it will never be fixed unless they get rid of scaling. You can't out-program a fundamentally flawed concept.
Rextroy is an absolute legend. He keeps finding ways to break the game time after time XD

The problem is all the blizzard drones kept spamming that "its only alpha they will fix it later" through the whole alpha and beta, same way they are doing for shadowlands
The number 536870912 is 2^29 which means Blizzard is using 32-bit numbers (think 32 bit processor though 64 bit can handle them as well) to run the game, or at least, process in game calculations. They use one of the remaining three bits for the sign of the number (+/-). The number 536870912 or 2^29 is significant because it is the largest power of two with distinct digits (none of the numbers repeat) in base ten (which we count in).
Pretty sure they've been using 32bit since ever, the maximum number was 2^32-1 up untill MoP or something. I remember breakin the game into getting numbers like thag all the time. In MoP the client was changed to 64bit one I'm pretty certain.

this reminds me when blood presence was blood aura and it stacked, could do heaps of shit with just dk's coz you'd get 2% dmg back from each dk in the group, this was one of the first patches of wotlk lol

it only lasts as long as you are within 8 yards of the Dk mob. CDs go back to normal the second you are out of range.

World of Warcraft ended their 32-bit OS service back in Summer of 2018. Now game runs only in 64-bit. With 64-bit the maximum integer that can be counted is 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 as damage.
