Tosh, Mike Vallely, and Levi Brown randomly came to my home park for a small element demo and tore the place apart. All of them were really nice meeting the fans outside afterwards… great interview!
@@dimensionalfigures It was either 2004 or 05’. Definitely around that time. I’m not even sure if “This is My Element” was out yet. They came by 3rd lair skatepark, and to this day I’ve never seen a skater go faster or higher than Mike V at that place.
Loving how you guys edit the clips in so seamlessly. ' Makes these video interviews more interactive and overall better. The production in studio E never disappoints, keep it comin'!
Tosh is such a legend. I bet his coworkers don’t even realize they’re in a presence of such a legend 😂 wish he was still in the industry some how (team manager or something)
The skaters want to see Tosh make a comeback!! The industry has changed and you don't need those companies that left you hanging back in the day. I bet @kellyhart can have an influence to get you back on Emerica!
Much respect for not making light of Bam's struggle. So easy to talk shit about others but the real ones know how to show support to those who need it.
Imma order some Emericas with my next check. Thank you bunt for keeping us entertained for all these years. Always coming thru with classic interviews and getting the best of the best from the era I started skating in. 🔥 🔥 🔥
I remember that West49 contest he's talking about!, It was at The Hershey centre in Mississauga, I saw tosh and he had prototypes for his emerita shoes with the T on the sides that came out the next summer.
Always liked Tosh had been wondering about him. I had two pairs of his Emericas god I absolutely loved those shoes. Wish emerica would do a reissue of them!!!
A friend of mine sent me this podcast telling me to watch it because you show clips and talk about (briefly) the film I made 'Part and Parcel'. They were some good times! If I remember correctly, Tosh had just as much footage as Rio so it only made sense to give them a joint part, and Rio was a lazy sack of shit who had F-all footage even though he had like 3 years to film haha * I can call Rio A lazy sack of shit because he's still one of my best friends to this day. Cheers fellas
Shows getting better. Better back drops and the questions and format are more entertaining. Really good insight into his career. The 711 beanie coincidence ha grew up on those vids
Element came to East coast terminal in Binghamton, ny in maybe 99 or 2000. I got his autograph on my 7.75 Donny barley element deck. Wish I would’ve kept that board. Big memories from that demo. Kenny Hughes doing every trick on the hand rail. Donny barley skating faster then anyone I’ve ever seen in my life. Good times.
Wow... I've never pressed 'play' so fast... was waiting 8 years for the Nine Club to land this one... His Sight Unseen part is my fav. part ever
never watched anything from this channel before, INSTANT CLICK.
Another nine club L 😮💨
💯
Sight Unseen is such a good video.. every video part is SOLID
People that weren't around in the early 2000s will never understand how insanely big Tosh was. Tosh was everywhere, in every mag in every 411
for real!!
Tosh was so amazing
He was the man! Came out swinging and then his style got even better as the dreads grew.
Remember the locs he was amazing
Element was big too in that time.
Tosh, Mike Vallely, and Levi Brown randomly came to my home park for a small element demo and tore the place apart. All of them were really nice meeting the fans outside afterwards… great interview!
What year was this ? Mike V took levi brown on tour with him in like 2005 and they just went to a ton of parks and skates.

@@focus_sk8-yd8nf he's a goofy trying to stay 'hip'.
The CCS cover goat
Core memory unlocked!
The golden era of element and emerica brings back memories of being a kid. Skaters like Tosh inspired a generation.
The skaters want to see Tosh make a comeback!! The industry has changed and you don't need those companies that left you hanging back in the day. I bet @kellyhart can have an influence to get you back on Emerica!

@@dustinstoner6195 haha we are all happy there's no video evidence of those days ;)
One of the best ones in a while. Tosh was honest and funny AF

This was surprisingly one of the best bunt interviews ever! I grew up on Tosh Townsend.seems like a really genuine guy

Loved his emericas in the maroon gum colorway 🥲
Love the honesty in this one, Tosh just always keeps it real. This was the best one in my opinion! Thanks Bunt!

Skated to J Mascis and the Fog, Ammaring in that sight unseen part I believe
Smolik next please!!
Didn't really follow Tosh when he was younger, but he evolved into a solid, authentic dude. Good sense of humor always helps.
Sick how the pod inspired him to get back on the board
I still vaguely remember the TWS Check Out Tosh Townend! I think it was a Front-Lip on a Rail? EDIT-I’m pretty sure its the clip at 8:29 🤘👽👽👽
Damn, what a barn burner of an episode. Best interview in a bit.

The OG Young Gawd… made Johnson 2 Emericas look so dope when he rode them.

I'm so happy to see he didn't get taken over by the party. Him and Arto were at my local park about 20 years ago and they ripped!
