thanks, Yannis! this is some of the best spotting conditions a spotter will ever get. Oddly though only the hard-core crowd knows this I think. I was the only one out there at the time I was spotting for this video. Perhaps people are just trying to keep their cameras dry : )
I know I'm not the sharpest tack in the box but I still can't comprehend how planes fly. Great video once again my friend, was great seeing you on Saturday!
The wing condensation gives a good visual on air flow and density. But yeah, commercial airliners seem like they would weigh too much to fly. And I can one up that! I don’t see how a large ship can float! Lol. Knowing the principle behind something doesn’t always allow for total comprehension. Cheers
Love the AstroJet livery! They should return the whole fleet to it. When I was 7, we flew on an a 707 AstroJet from then-Idlewild. To a youngster, it felt like we were going to the moon (although sadly we were going to a funeral).
haha! well my videos aren't exactly made for kids... XD Interesting Fun Fact: according to my analytics, the 18 and younger crowd is the smallest of all the demographics who watch this channel anyway.
wow! I once went to LAX and got a great video in the rain there... it's back aways in my history but you can view it here on my channel. great wing vortice effects in that one.
it can be a couple degrees apart and you can still get good condensation. but yes, when the two meet you will certainly get condensation of some kind. :)
it's been a while! good to hear from you. yes, this is not really rare to see at ORD but I just haven't filmed it a bunch :D I'll have to get out there and film this more often.
Great video! Would you be okay with me featuring it in an episode of Airplane Compilations ? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description as always.
yes, Sean! 10R is active yet again! and it seems they have settled on a new taxi route that takes every arrival to that runway past "the hill".... so expect good spotting from this configuration in future.
The old American Airlines paint job is so much more impressive looking then the current one
All the airlines are doing away with the cool paint jobs and switching to the crappy ones. ESPECIALLY Aer Lingus
@@TrentEngineFan I guess they just change for something new..but new is not always better
I agree... sad to see the old logo and livery go away completely.
Fantastic video!
Thanks to all my friends and don't forget to subscribe to the channel!
Thanks 4 watch!ng
Superb footage mate, love wet runway action, liked the British A350 landing, so beautiful with the condensation!!
Thanks 4 watch!ng I would love to see a few more rainy days exactly like this one to try to get some more impressive condensation shots...
@@OHAREAVIATION You are lucky, here in Madeira is very difficult to have even 10% of that condensation, even in the most wet and humid days!!

Speedbird A35K🤩

Beautiful video ❤❤
Thanks! :) Happy I got a number of good clips you liked in this one.
Great video! The wing condensation was just amazing!
Thanks for watching! Hope to see you out there soon again (and bring my scanner :D )
Yeah for sure. I was just busy these last few days with school work so I couldn't go spotting.
American Airlines have some of the best retros....great video!
Thanks! :) I wish Delta and United would do the same and embrace their history a little more as well.
@@OHAREAVIATION The new United livery looks 🍑 👌.
super catches through the rain Jay.Fantastic footage

@@OHAREAVIATION yes.that makes the video more precious
Rainy day spotting is on my bucket list!
Mine too!
it takes some work to keep the camera dry but it's LOTS of fun!
@@OHAREAVIATION Homework was my greatest enemy yesterday! Next time, though!
Superb plane spotting in the rain Jay. I enjoyed the whole video especially the wing condensations & Vortices.
Thanks 4 watch!ng very happy I got some good footage of this!
Awesome to see how the airflow gets broken down when the spoilers deploy - its clear from many of these landings.
Awesome footage!
probably one of my favorite things to watch in aviation... wish I could film it more often : )
0:33 never seen a 747 touchdown so smooth!
: )
I know I'm not the sharpest tack in the box but I still can't comprehend how planes fly. Great video once again my friend, was great seeing you on Saturday!
always great seeing you, Budd! I might stop by a few more times this year if I can.

The best April Showers.
hoping for some May flowers!

Really is sad how many airlines liveries have become so safe, unimaginative and bland these days...
I'm surprised that youtube didn't go "No, no Jay, that title is not child friendly" :) Epic video btw.
haha! well my videos aren't exactly made for kids... XD
Interesting Fun Fact: according to my analytics, the 18 and younger crowd is the smallest of all the demographics who watch this channel anyway.
@@OHAREAVIATION Same with me. The top age is 25 to 34 years.
Your stuff never disappoints
Thanks, Steve! I try hard to bring good content to this channel... now if only I had the time...
Stunning video
Thanks 4 watch!ng, mate!
I love the AA 737-800 with the AstroJet livery!
Thanks 4 watch!ng I love that livery too... glad they still have a number of these retro liveries still floating around.
@@OHAREAVIATION You're certainly welcome!
I enjoyed watching the DHL 777 TAXING to the runway
Always good to see Big Yellow :)
I enjoyed watching all of them.
What an incredible video mate! So many epic catches during this bad weather! Liked!
I wish I could film in these conditions more often! thnx 4 stopping by!
Man i wish it rain like that out here in los angeles california , it only rains may be 3 times a year in december , sometimes in january and thats it
wow! I once went to LAX and got a great video in the rain there... it's back aways in my history but you can view it here on my channel. great wing vortice effects in that one.
Awesome job man!!!! Love all that condensation!!!!

we got lots of lights!
fantastic moment, great job friend
Thanks 4 watch!ng
Nice wet action in ORD.. 👍✅
yeah babay!! (my best Austin Powers imitation ; P ) Thanks 4 watch!ng
Nice, I saw a few regional jets and mainline jets with condensation yesterday.
was a great day for it! I would've filmed more but I had other things I had to do.
Nice Video - Thanks 👍🏼
Thanks 4 watch!ng
Awesome catches Jay! I am wondering why a lot of the planes are taxiing from the south in front of the hill? That is very unusual
yeah, that was pretty cool to see.. almost everything landing on 10R was going by the hill. Would not be surprised if this happens more in future.
Show, adorooooo.
Thanks 4 watch!ng
Nice 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanx!
I saw these fly over my house!!!!! When ever I see a plane I think Is he gonna film it😭!!!
you never know! I show up at unexpected times and places sometimes.
To have some condensation, the dew point has to be the same as the temperature?
it can be a couple degrees apart and you can still get good condensation. but yes, when the two meet you will certainly get condensation of some kind. :)
man i love days with vape like this, but Houston has been kinda dry so far this year
it's been a while! good to hear from you. yes, this is not really rare to see at ORD but I just haven't filmed it a bunch :D I'll have to get out there and film this more often.

Thanks for watching! yes, you certainly may.
Are my eyes deceiving me?? Is 10R being used again??
yes, Sean! 10R is active yet again! and it seems they have settled on a new taxi route that takes every arrival to that runway past "the hill".... so expect good spotting from this configuration in future.
Bad ass
Thanks 4 watch!ng
nice video
Thanks!
Not sure if you've answered this before, but what camera do you use for filming?
Sony AX-53, no tripod.

lol! no guarantees about where it went from here. : D
@@OHAREAVIATION yup...who knows where it'll head next?
Yo jay do you know why Southwest does not fly their 737-800 or Max Out of ORD
I do see them here from time to time. :)

Weird to se a 777 as a cargo plane....
777s are actually used very frequently for cargo aircraft : )
Moist! Haha
Very B-)
