- In this video I show how I make side money by parting out cars with this Mercedes E63 AMG Sedan. I picked this car up from Insurance Auto Auctions (IAAI) and will be striping down to a bare chassis to try to make some money.

Do you think $1700 is too much to pay for a 2012 Hyundai Genesis with a blown motor to part out? The body and interior look new.
Do you have to have any type of special business permit, car "dismantler permit" or anything?
I'm not sure where he is located, but in my state you can dismantle up to three cars per year as a private individual. In the video he mentions he parts out 1-2 cars per year, so I'm guessing he doesn't need/have a permit.

@@ResurWreck That makes sense. I am debating parting my 2006 E350. It has some problem that no one has been able to figure out. It could be the silliest thing IMO, or the whole engine useless. Do you think it's worth it? Esp. considering engine maybe bad..
