@@abhinavar7179New Zealand can not get second group in the super8 stage. They have pre-seeded as C1 team if they qualify for the super8 irrespective of their place in group stage ( I mean place 1 or 2).
The format is little different this time. New Zealand would either be in group 1 in super8 or they would not qualify for super8.
They can’t go to group 2.

So many people in the comments section commenting without realising the format and seeding of the tournament. India, Australia and NZ all 3 of them cannot make the semifinals, bcoz they have been seeded to be in the same Super 8 group. Hence maximum 2 of them can make the overall top 4.
Why do you think so? Let's assume India gets to A1, then their Super 8 games will be against B2, C1, D2. Assume if Aus gets to B1 and NZ gets to C1, then India and Aus will be in the same Super 8 group while NZ will be in the other group. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@anirudhmasurkar3537 Australia has been seeded to be B2 irrespective of their position in group B points table. In ICC tournaments, there is pre seeding system, that is teams get their Super 8 seeding before the start of tournament, so that it's easy for spectators to book tickets from before hand.

England - B1, Australia - B2
NZ - C1, West Indies - C2
South Africa - D1, Sri Lanka - D2
Irrespective of their position in points table, this is going to be their seeding, if they qualify for Super 8. If any other team qualifies for Super 8, then it will take the seeding of the team which didn't qualify.
So for example, if Afghanistan qualifies in place of NZ, Afghanistan will take NZ's seeding. If West Indies finish 1st in group C and Afghanistan finish 2nd, then West Indies will not be treated C1, as per their previous seeding they will be tested C2 and Afghanistan, bcoz they qualified in place of NZ, they will become C1. I hope you understood.
