INGREDIENTS 210 g (1.5 heaping cups) unbleached all-purpose flour 7 g (1 1/4 teaspoons) kosher salt 56 g (1/4 cup) softened butter 100 g water (1/3 cup + 1 tablespoon) 100 g (1/2 cup) sourdough starter I scrolled through a lot of pages on the website to FINALLY get the ingredient list
I love Alexandra's videos! My favs are the ones where she chops something and speeds up the camera so the sounds are transformed, but the dough frying in this one is also mesmerizing!
Thank you for the recipe. I appreciate how you just got to business with out commentary 👌. These were pretty good. I'll add them to my discard recipe box.
I tried this a few days ago and they were just what I was looking for. I have 2 questions when you have a moment. 1. If it rests longer will the fermentation process add a more sourdough flavor? and 2. I would like to try making this with dried garlic and possibly some herbs, if I did this would I have to adjust the proportion of any other ingredient(s)?
I tried this with a cold starter which had been in the fridge for a week, and it turned out great! Thanks for sharing!
This is exactly what I intend to do today (week-old cold starter). Thank you for posting your comment!

So nice to hear this :)
@@AlexandraStafford can you make a video on how to make crunchy hard Shells with sourdough?
I'm a simple woman. I see sourdough I click like 😁
Love it :)
Great recipes Alexander, love hearing the kids practice in the background, they're getting better!
Thank you, Bob. I love hearing them play, too :)

Look at this girl flipping those tortillas with her bare hands. You’re legit
You should have so many more followers! Your work is amazing ❤️
This is my go to recipe. I make them every week now. So delicious
Without tearing, wow!
You’re the best. Love all your sourdough recipes. Thanks!❤️
Best tortilla recipe i tried ! Thank you from France !
I use parchment (plus flour) for rolling. I don't have a cast iron skillet, but this works just as well on a somewhat less hot cast aluminum skillet.
So funny- I typed in Sourdough flour tortillas, and there you are!! THANKS!
Just made these, they were delicious. Thank you for the recipe!
I made these and ate them plain with soup. They have a very good flavor!
Every time I google a sourdough recipe yours show up, I fucking love this channel
🎉these came out yummy! Thx for sharing!

You make it look so easy to roll these out 🤣 but also this is my favourite recipe I have not gone back to store bought after these
Love your videos and your recipes. What skillet did you use in this video? I need to replace mine because my tortillas keep burning.
Thanks for shaing this delicious 👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
💕💕💕💕💕
Thanks for the recipe. Could we leave it to rest for a longer period of time. Like 8 to 10 hrs?
Off topic but can you share countertop details? Is it unfinished butcher block? So pretty!
That one at 3:57 was perfect. Thank you.
I’m assuming I can freeze these….should I cook them first then freeze or freeze once rolled out with parchment paper between?
Bro these are gonna be insane
😩😩😩😩 whatttt am i doing wrong???? Mine ALWAYS shrink up during the rolling process and i can neverrrr get them thin enough!
REALLLLL, ME TOO😭
Why are mine always like flat bread 😭
Can lard replace the butter gram per gram?
Ah.... the ides of March!
So observant! 🎉🎉🎉💕💕💕
Thank you, 💥
👍👍👍
What type of flour did you use….AP or bread flour? Thx
Uh March? ... March 15th. 😂❤
Didn't look like you let it ferment so they aren't really sourdough unfortunately. But I bet they are yummy!
🙄
The starter or discard is what's been fermenting.
Why do I bother to look anywhere else🤣
