Great video! My wife and I stayed at Lake Arbitus Campground last fall and rode most of the trails you showed. Rock Dam was beautiful in late fall and the trails were muddy with no dust. Going back this fall. Keep up the great videos!
Been taking our snowmobile's up and riding in the great state of Wisconsin for decades... Riding in the driftless region is my favorite Area.. Making future plans to come up and experience the area in summer months riding SxS's & camp. Really Looks Fun .
Awesome! I’ve been thinking about picking up a sled for a while now. Used to go with a friend every year up by Wausau. We have snowmobile trails right behind our house, but down here it’s hit or miss with the winters we have.
Myself and our local cataract Wisconsin utv group ride from the millston area north through all you shared every weekend through out the summer, you gave a great review of the trails you rode for us to share....maybe in the future..you and your family check Arpins campground. They have camping sites, (I personally have camper there permanent)....but, I highly recommend reservations on the cabin...so beautiful...and you have access to the lower black river falls trails which are super awesome!!...millston has gas station, and t.ks 400 club for great food..(trail & road route accessible)...since all of area is both trail and road route open!!! Thankyou for your video!!!...
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video. We are planning to be up at Snyder Lake Memorial Day weekend with friends but we’ll definitely up in that area several times the summer. We’ll definitely take a look at that campground / cabin options too. It’s such a beautiful area and it’s not too far for us for a weekend ride. Cheers!
We used to stay at Grandma's smirker's in milston and have her cinnamon rolls on the weekends out riding snowmobiles in the 70's, 80's, 90's thru 2010's.. The family is interested in coming up and experiencing the area. In the summer months on SxS's soon. Always wondered what the trails look like in the summer. :) is Wildcat loop open to SxS's in summer ? Or maybe ride by the cranberry marsh. :)
You are a long way from BRF on all but 1 ride. I would call it Neillsville instead. Rock Dam and Snyder's Dam are near where I grew up. Nice scenic overlooks if you trail ride near BRF in Jackson County. Great camping if you don't need all the amenities at Snyders.
Yeah that’s probably fair. Guess that’s just what people we know have always called that whole area. It’s a gorgeous area. We do like the trails further north towards Rock Dam than south but they’re all pretty cool. We’ll be heading up that way Memorial Day weekend again. We’ve stayed at Lake Arbutus and Snyder before and liked them both.
@@TheNorthwoodsFamily I was Turkey hunting last year while you were there. I will be turkey hunting that area again this year. Perhaps we'll meet. Have fun!
Welcome!!! We haven’t yet, mainly because our work schedules are kinda crazy so it’s hard for us to plan ahead. Others have asked us too… if we ever get to a point where we think it could work well give it a shot. Otherwise, if you’re in Wisconsin or happen to be coming here sometime let us know, never know if we could make a weekend work out sometime.
Howdy, im from the east coast but ive been to Black River Falls one time back in 95. Nice area. Have you done a review on your comms by the way? Love the channel. We have a Honda Pioneer for our family. Joe Bee.
Yep! Some of them are actually designated 62” or less not 65. You definitely want to cross reference ride command with the official USFS Motor Vehicle Use Maps. Those things are a must have and they’re free. I believe Ride Command is mostly user submitted data - so I always take it with a grain of salt. We laid down a bunch of new trails on RC that weren’t on our RC map.
My wife and our three children ride in BRF on our sportsmans two or three times a year. We have 110cc quads for our kids. Next time you go, message me and I can send a pin on Google maps so you can see wild Elk. We will be in BRF next week
What a great offer thank you! We will hit you up next time. We are out in the Black Hills (that’s why the delayed response) and we woke up to bull elk bugles this morning! You just can’t beat it… that said, we would live to hear some Wisconsin elk!

You guys have some cool videos. We love our General XP 4 seater
The XP is an awesome machine! And thanks for the kind words. Glad you enjoy the videos! 🙏🏼
Where are you from if you don't mind me asking ? I'm in Janesville,Wi. and have lot's of family and friends all along the Black River trails.
We live in Iowa County.
Our family is new to the UTV world... Do you guys post your next rides? We would love to meet up other families into the outdoor offroading life!!!

@@TheNorthwoodsFamily awesome. Great to hear... Thanks again for the reply. The Fuentes Family. 👨👩👧👧
Awesome video I think we were camped by you guys that weekend
Thanks! Very cool. Yeah we had a big group at the group camp at Snyder Lake.
Wow nice video... New friend From South Cotabato Mindanao Philippines..
Awesome! Welcome friend! We have a friend from Manila! 🇵🇭
Swing by Birchwood sometime. Lots of trails and food.
Will do! Thanks!!!

Thanks Dan!!! 🙏🏼

Hey thanks! Have not done a review on the Com. I’ll try to get one up this winter.
I would suggest you look at some trails in the Harrison Hills area in Oneida County and check out the campground area there.
Will do! We haven’t been that far north with our General yet. Thanks for the tip!
Great trails if you like gravel and dust
We always go in the spring but even then it’s pretty dusty - if it rains before the weekend it’s a lot of fun though!
Awesome!
Thanks bro! 🙏🏼
Do you carry a spare tire?
We had one back at the camp. We carry one now most of the time on the back of our cargo rack.
Those trails are cool for 65 inches and less? On Polaris command it looks like just ATV trails

There isn't 5 different trails up there is there.
It’s all one connected trail system, but different segments or loops have different characteristics and scenery.
Docs Bunkhouse close to humbird
We’ll check it out. Thanks!
@@TheNorthwoodsFamily it's a party lol
Rock Dam lake not Rock Lake.
I may have misspoke! You’re right it is “Rock Dam” and “Rock Dam Lake”
